  • City Streets skinny jeans at JC Penney's?

    What is the inseam on these jeans? Being tall, I need at least a 33/34" inseam. They are on sale, so I'd like to get several pairs, But I'd like to know if they are going to fit, before chasing to the store.

  • Herring in cream sauce and potatoes?

    This is a dish has been handed down from my mother's family, who came from the northern Germany area know as Pomerania.

    In a bowl you combine equal amounts of herring in sour cream sauce and and cream. Set it aside while you boil a large pot of potatoes, preferrably reds. When the potatoes are done, they are drained. Peeling them is optional. A serving is a plateful of potatoes, coarsely mashed, topped with the herring and cream.

    We really enjoy this, but have yet to find anyone else who has even heard of serving this dish for a meal. Have you?
