I need to know if there is anyone who knows the legal laws in Nebraska??? My daughter rented an apartment with another girl. Both names on the lease. And my daughter pays the agreed rent. Both were getting along fine until the roommate decided to move her boyfriend in (Not on the lease) Than the boyfriend got in my daughters face when she brought some groceries in and he felt she needed to share with him and his girlfriend. Since then my daughter has not felt safe. The roommate has made threats that she is going to throw all of her belongings out and the roommate has broken into her room and stolen a paystub (Not sure what she planned to do with it.) My daughter doesnt want to break her lease because she doesnt want to ruin her credit. Is there any legal way to breaking a lease?? If so, how does one go about doing so?? This is for the state of Nebraska...

I need to know if a person doesnt feel safe with a roommate, Has had threats made against them. Has gotten into their personal property, is this grounds of breaking a lease and how does one go about it. In the state of Nebraska??

The landlord has been notified of the matter along with the police...The landlord says it will be breaking the lease and police say nothing can be done untill one is seriously hurt??!!!??

Any suggestions?

Ok this question is being asked for my friend who is here with me tonight. She has a guy friend she met like 2 months ago and when they have talked on the phone, at first he seems to be fine, but after awhile he starts this snorting noise that sounds like he is sucking up chocolate milk in his nose. Theres like a little bit of a laugh each time he does it.LOL I heard just a bit of it over the speaker phone tonight, but not enough to make out if its just him goofing off or a medical problem he might have. She asked him several times what he is doing and he always answers with watching TV talking to you. She asked what the noise was and he was like nothing. She wont let me come out and ask him. I would embarrass her, so anyone out there know if this could be a medical disorder? Serious answers only...I have better things to do than read all these unnecessary answers.

I have A dog on prozac because she is mean to the other dogs. It doesnt seem to help her any. We call her EBONIZER for a reason lol Any suggestions to help with bad behavior habits. Possibly a vet out there.

I have a friend who tells me he loves me and wants me to do the same. I can't do this because I'm married. How do i make him understand this? He says it's just a friendship "I love you" But to me I still feel it's wrong.
