Back in early 2001 we started attending this church that my parents noticed. Its a small church and felt like it was just starting out. So there's this girl in bible study that I notice and her name is Ester. She had glasses and has kinda plain looking type of girl and that seemed shy to talk to anyone other than her friends and family. I tell my mom about her and she notices the girl and says she seems like a nice girl. So my mom starts becoming friends with the girl's mother and we start getting involved with the church. Now the girls mother seems a bit protective of her daughter as I never seen the girl talked to guys at the church which were a few. So me and her pretty much become friends, she starts saying hi to me alot whenever she sees me even smiles at me and waves at me. So then my family starts inviting the girls' family to do church events. Even as far as picking up them as they didn't have a car. There was a youth convention called Congresso that the entire church went to a few years later and I noticed Ester acting horny. Like one time I went to my parents hotel room since they went along for the trip and Ester and her friend were in the same room with me. I was sitting on the bed and they both ask me if I thought both of them were pretty and I said yes. They even were going to ask me a question but later decided not to ask me. I later found out from a friend that she wanted to give some dude a bj that she was attracted to as well. The guy was later kicked out of the church for being caught smoking on the trip. Another time the girl came over to my parents house with her mom and she attempted to go inside my room. Her mother stopped her and she looked kinda upset about it. Our church went to a concert and while driving back its just me and her in back seat of the van. So I accidentally touch her hand and notices she blushes at me and looks down at the floor. We had Youth Night that night and she sits next to me so after its over I see her standing alone with her mother talking to a friend and ask her out. She is shocked that I want to ask her only a friends nothing me. She says yes and gives me her number and says call me anytime. So I decide to call her and when she answered there is just this dead silence until I ask if she's available to go out to the movies. She says let me check with my mom and I hear them talking in spanish and she later tells me that she is busy for that week. So I say fine maybe next time and call her the next week in hopes. So I call her up again and ask if she liked to go out and she says yes and seems excited then talks to her mom again, a different excuse that her relatives are there visiting. So a third time I call and flat out tell her, "Do you really still want go out with me", she says yes I'll love to go out with you and check with her mother. Comes back saying she'll call me back, calls me back telling me she is busy. So I pretty much decide to give up on her but my mom was like call her again to tell her to go Six Flags since we had a season pass. When she said that I pretty much told her that Ester either wasn't interested in me or maybe her mother was just being overprotective of letting her go out with boys. So I pretty much avoided her and notice that she avoided me as well for the reminder of 4 years. I notice she would always be whispering to her girlfriend alot whenever they saw me even smiling and laughing. Not sure if she was talking about me or not. I did see that she changed her appearance started dressing like Lindsay Lohan in the movie Mean Girls which made me take notice and guys started talking to her more. She started wearing contacts which were blue and dyed her hair.

Anyway she moved from our church as she was giving her mother problems talking back and stuff. I later found out that she had met a much older guy at her church who was a musician and they started talking and dating. I even found out that she got pregnant by him and her mother was upset about it and they got in a huge fight. She ended up running away from home and getting married to the guy. Now our church was having a celebration of the two churches merging since we had merged with another church years later but the paper work wasn't legal. So I see that she shows up with her husband and a new born baby girl. The church later has a get-to-getter and she is standing there with her family and everyone is talking to her and meeting her husband and the baby. I just looked at her from a distance and she looked at me but didn't do anything. Anyway after the event ended my mom tells me if I saw the girl's baby and I say yes. My mom later tells me that I missed out my chance with this girl and that should of been me with her. I thought about it and really don't agree with what my mom said at all. In my mom's eyes that girl probably was the girl that she thought was right for me. So my question is simple, why are girls ju

I know this named Gilda from my church, she used to treat me kinda bad like make fun of me and didn't really talk to me. She would always ask me why I didn't talk, I was shy back then in middle school. So my family moved from our old church back in 1998-99, we had attended there since 1995-1996. So we started attending a new church around 2002-2009. So it was around 2004-2008 that my father saw that his friend was going to our church. Now he knows the girl's mom, he used to go school to her back in high school. So Gilda starts talking to me like saying hi which she never did back in the old church. She even attended my college where I used to attended and I saw her there once when coming down from class. I talked to her until her ride arrived and we caught up. She asked me how I was doing along with my family and then she asked if I was still attending the church as I was not attending. I told her no and then she sounded kinda sad that I wasn't.

Anyway she has a my space page and I sent her a friend's request. So hopefully she accepts me as a friend soon, I even sent her a message. She seems more out going then she was before, before she was kinda shy like me and never talked in bible class. She even once grabbed my hand after church while I was looking the other way, and had this smile when I tried back to her. She is around my age 25 years old and I would really like to get to know her. She is really nice and seems to want to get my attention, or I think she is just playing hard to get. My parents even wanted me to ask her out which I really don't want to as it would back fire.

I had something similar to happen to me with another girl at the same church who did the exact same things, being nice, friendly ,etc. With that girl I asked her out and she said yes but we really didn't go out on a date per say. Just made plans but those plans never went through. The girl is now married with two kids.
