What is this device?
I found it in the bedroom, and there is no indication that there was ever a home entertainment system installed.I live in a highrise. It was installed into the wall in my closet via two cords, one was a power cord I think, and the other had six or seven wires that attached individually. Any help is appreciated.
2 AntwortenOther - Electronicsvor 9 MonatenHow can you seriously say the TEA Party is at fault?
Dem's haven't passed any budget in how long? TEA Party wants to reduce government spending, which would reduce the debt, and (if you don't know anything about economics, don't bother commenting) increase net exports putting us back to work.
12 AntwortenPoliticsvor 10 JahrenTax raise compromise, contingent on taxpayers age?
First off we should, and have to, reduce spending. But as a compromise to democrats, what do you think about raising taxes (slightly) on people of a certain age and above since it was their generation who spent and created these programs without sustainable means to fund them. The youth are being robbed and I think it's time those responsible own up.

So I'm taking it on the 19th of Feb. For those who have taken it, how is it? I'm nervous, I know I have lots of timeto study for it, but still. I'm reviewing the practice q's on actuary.com. so far they aren't too bad. I'd just appreciate some input.
Also, I've taken calc and statistics, so I'm going into this test blind lol.

3 AntwortenMathematicsvor 1 JahrzehntTopping off at the pump?
OK, so I answered a question with this information, which I am pretty darn sure is true. But if anybody can verify this, it'd be great. When you top off at the pump, it ruins the pump. Those little holes at the end of the nozzle are vapor return holes. The pump sucks back air/vapors, and when it gets bubles/liqiud in them, it turns of the fuel flow. That is how the automatic shut off works. When you top off, you can get liqiud in the holes, which 'trick' the pump into thinking you tank is full. This is why you sometimes get a pump that shuts off 2 seconds after you begin fueling.
My question is this, can anbody verify this? Did you know about this? Now that you do, will you please, please stop topping off (one of my pet peeves)?

If we really had the ability to mass produce flying cars at an affordable price to the public, do you think it would be a good idea? Keep in mind all the people who run out of gas, and don't pay attention to the raod when driving, let alone all the people who dont know how to drive. This is assuming that we don't put in automatic safety measures, since we currently don't do that in our aircraft.
