I bought my Taurus used. It's had 3 owners who were very meticulous about maintenance. However, when I try to set the cruise control, the green "cruise" light blinks on for half a second, then disappears, and the cruise does not engage. Any idea how much this will cost to fix? Or is it even worth it on a car that old?

Let's say I wanted everything I hit with a super-soaker to smell like mustard. What could I mix with the thinned-down mustard to make the smell very difficult to remove?

I replaced the bulb in my rear passenger turn signal, but it's still not working. I'd like to check the fuse before I take it into a garage, so where do I find them?

I do not have the manual for the TV, or the original remote. I DO have a universal remote, but I can't figure out how to set it so that the signal from my PS2 comes in.

I have an Insignia NS-LCD 26. It's not hooked up to cable or satellite, as I don't believe in paying to watch TV. It has no remote or manual, though I did buy a universal remote to go with it.

They're everywhere! They're in my cabinets, my laundry, swarming over my sink--they have no shame at all! I have to wipe off all my cans before I open them because of the little black specks they leave behind. I've fumigated already, set out poison, put all of my food in airtight plastic containers--I'm getting ready to just set fire to my house and collect the insurance! Please, someone tell me how to get rid of them so I can have company again without dying of embarrassment!

Seriously, every time I see a "warning", it's always a second-hand thing. "Someone told me..." or "I heard that..."

Would you people at least try to educate yourself about what you're protesting against? Or are you really afraid that a single viewing is going to contaminate your mind and challenge your worldview?

And if that's the case...how do you ever manage to leave the house? Do you just wear earplugs and blinders to help filter out anything that might possibly conflict with what you have been so carefully taught?
