Long story short, I had a boyfriend of two years and we recently broke up. I've been occupying myself with going on dates and having a good time with guys, but because I'll be leaving for college in 6 months or so, I don't really want to get into a relationship.

I've been hanging out with a good guy friend, and things are getting to a point where were more than friends...but not really (awkward moment when you think you might kiss and it doesn't happen?). He'll put his arm around me and blah, blah, blah, but we're sort of stuck at the moment.

He's had a rough time (his dad died a year ago and his mom just entered remission from a brain tumor) and circumstances have made him a pretty sensitive guy. If I mess with his emotions, I'm going to come out of the whole thing looking like the "bad guy". I've told him how I feel about getting into a relationship, but I feel lie since then he's gotten more flirty and we've hung out more.

I don't want to hurt him, and I'm scared that if things escalate, I might. What I really want is a friends with benefits thing to go on, but I wonder how he feels about that. Do I need to cut things now, before they go anywhere else? Or could I be judging him wrong and he might not mind?

Okay so the other day I found my parents' old SLR camera. It's a 1987 Canon EOS 650, and it's surprisingly in really good condition considering that it hasn't been used in 18 years (since I was born). Lucky me, it's been in it's protective case and in an environment where it doesn't have to deal with big temperature changes (like in an attic or a garage). Anyways, there's a couple things I'm still trying to figure out and was looking for some help with them. I really want to be able to use it!

I ordered a new battery and it's turning on, and the lens' zoom is in order, but it won't focus and when it's on manual I can't move the focus. Am I just missing something?

Also, it had an external flash. Unfortunately, this battery compartment was completely corroded and seems to be that it's not salvageable. I tried new batteries for the heck of it, and cleaned it the best I could, but no surprise, it's still not working.

Lastly, I can't take a picture. The film in it is half used from when my parents last used the camera last, so I'm wondering if it'd be a fix as simple as that the film won't advance?

Okay so I found my old Sims 2 game and I'm playing it just for kicks. But some of my peoples' aspirations are 'Buy a cell phone.' I don't remember there being cell phones and I don't know where I'd go to buy one. Anyone know? And in University, if you send your kid to college does it automatically take you there? Or can I send a few kids at the same time and they'll all show up together there?

I know it's the wrong section, but I'm in the F&A section of Y!A all the time and I totally trust that you and the people here can help!

I want to make a poster to give to my friend at his going away party but I want it to be fun. So I really would like to use candy wrappers as part of it. Like for example, "We love you even though you're a NERDS sometimes, but it'll all pay off when you're making more than 100 GRAND." In place of the words you glue down/tape the wrapper. But yea I really was hoping for maybe a link to a poster like that that could help me make one for my friend before he moves. If you can't find one, that's fine but I'd love for you to try to come up with some sentences or whatever using a wrapper or two. If nothing else, could you give me a list of really popular candy that I might be able to use? I want to use gum, candy, chocolate bars, anything like that will work!

I'm going to a college frat party at my brother's college. When I asked him about costumes, he said just do something super, super sexy. I'm 17 so I can get as sexy as I want to and it doesn't really matter, plus I want to impress all the college guys. So he also told me that most every girl comes as some type of Playboy Bunny and that all the guys are really sick of seeing them. He said that if a girl came dressed as something more tomboy, all the guys would go crazy. So I decided I want to be a construction worker. I'm in between 2 costumes, and leaning toward the 2nd.

Okay so I'm trying to figure out what it might cost for me to attend college. I know the tuition is about $21,000 and the room/board is around $7500. But I need to know what else I should look into as expenses. Things like books, food, etc. And do you have any idea how much money I should expect to use on them for my first year? So if you could reccomend some other categories I need to think about, and how much money I should leave for it, that'd be great!

Problem is, I talked to my coach to see what she wants me to put in them today and she wants to see one at practice in just a few hours! So I have to whip one of them out, like now. I just want some general things that will help the girls and give them the freedom to make them what they want. Here's what I have so far::

-a page for personal and team goals

-blank courts to put lineups/plays/defense on

-notebook paper to use for notes

-a contact list of coaches and the girls

What else should I use? I had a coach who put photocopied articles in ours, and things on leadership, inspirational players, and that kind of stuff. Should I use those things? I need to know where I can get them, so could you give me a website where I can? What other unique volleyball types of things can I put in for the girls?

Okay so my school is brand new this year, like literally this is our first year open. We don't have a senior class, and most girls that came to tryouts haven't really played much or just aren't good. Anyway, there's no way we're going to have a good season. So I want to make sure that the girls are really united as a team. Can you help me build off these ideas and maybe come up with a few more?

-Season start party:: My house because we've got a pool, a sand volleyball court, with lots of food! But I need other ideas, my parents aren't letting me have everyone sleep over, but we aren't going to want to swim and play volleyball the entire time so any ideas?

-A Volleyball Team Survival Kit:: it's basically a bag of candy and each piece of candy is something significant. Like here's one: 'Snickers to remind you to take time to laugh.' So yea I'm doing that. There aren't really any changes I think I'm going to make to it.

-Ribbons:: In our school's colors and with the girl's number in glitter glue.

-Folders:: The foders are something I really need help with too. Okay so I'm going to put a personal note to the girl inside it, but I want to add other things. Like I'm going to put in pages with blank courts on them, so they can put in the lineups/serve recieve/plays that our coach will run. I want to put in a page for goals because our coach is really goal oriented. And some blank notebook paper for notes because most of the girls need reminded about things. Oh, they're the type of folder that has the thing you hook papers on so you don't have to put them in the pockets.

So any ideas are totally fine! Let me know! Oh, and I know I posted this already, but I didn't get a ton of ideas, I just want some more!

I don't know how to go about getting there. I'm still in highschool, and I'm wanting to go to college for this, but I don't know what that technically is. Is it that I'd do a duel major of pediatrics and oncology? Or is that something I'd just get my degree in once I get to medical school? If so, then what do I major in (I want to do a psycology minor) for my first four years?

Plus, if you have any colleges that have programs where I can become a pediatric oncologist, could you name them?

So I like this type of question. Leave me 3 random facts about you. I'd love to hear them. I might try to email or message a few people that answer. You could always email me! So let me give you my three and then I'll post this. You don't have to be descriptive about them like me, but if you want to, I'd love to hear!

a.) I hate shoes, thank God my feet aren't incredibly ugly. I carry a pair of Rainbows around most of the summer rather than having them on my feet and I'd walk barefoot through a five-foot snow bank and not think twice about it. But, since I can't [most of the time], I love to buy them. Heels are my absolute favorites but I love anything, flats, gladiators, flip-flops, wedges, slides, and sneakers and more. It makes me sound hypocritical, but whatever. I just love cute shoes, even though I'd rather not have to wear them.

b.) I have an 'accent wall' in my room [I said these were random did I not?]. So yes, three walls are a light blue but not a bright light blue, kind of a toned down light blue if that makes sense and the odd one out is kind of a lime sherbertish green. There's chocolate brown curtains on the 'accent wall'. Pretty snazzy, aye???

c.) I have an irrational fear of snakes. I've come really close to having a panic attack because my brother was telling a story that concerned his teacher and a snake. I wouldn't walk in the grass for two weeks when we found a snake barely 6" long on our driveway. And when my dad told me to go look online and find out what kind it was, I cried just looking at the pictures on the screen. Yea, it's just that bad.
