--using Yahoo Mail app. I've erased it in "Mail, Contacts, Calendars"; I've rebooted iOS; I've reloaded the app. Damned if "Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPad" doesn't just sit there. Help!!!

I can't get rid of "Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPad"--my Signature box is empty (in Mail, Contacts, Calendars", I've restarted (holding down for 10 seconds both buttons etc.), I've reloaded Yahoo Mail app--going nuts here. anything else I can try pls?

I thought that pi, being a transcendental number, meant that it was impossible to know the nth digit of pi without calculating the previous n-1 digits. I thought that was pretty much the definition of a transcendental number (yeah, I know officially it's not the root of an algebraic equation with rational integers).

So now I find out about spigot formulae, and in particular the BBF formula which allows you to calculate the nth number (in hexadecimal, anyway) of pi without knowing any of the previous ones. Which is totally weird to me.

What happened to my confidence that you couldn't know the millionth number of pi without knowing the previous 999,999???

Can someone explain, in layman's terms please?

My Aspire One, running XP, won't either go to sleep or hibernate, either from Start menu or shortcut keys. (Following reloading OS) Only option is to turn it off. Any ideas, pls?

I had a Dell 1704 FPV in storage for awhile. When I plugged it in again, the floating "self-test" display came on for 2 seconds--and went off. (Same if I connected it to computer--on for 2 seconds, then off). Here's the weird thing, I pushed down in the middle of the screen (don't ask why, just a hunch) and it started working perfectly--for an hour. Then back to 2 seconds on, then off, can't repeat the pressure trick. Anyone, anywhere, got any idea at all what's going on? Many thanks, barry

I need a program for XP to search for words and phrases in word and text documents. I tried Google desktop and Copernicus, but both of them hogged memory and kept grinding away in the background. Is there something out there I can tell to index my drive, then stay out of the way until i want to find something? thanks everyone

Know basically nothing about karaoke--looking for advice how to buy a machine, how to buy music (I assume you can buy karaoke music on MP3? Can I then play via my ipod nano?). Just looking for some family fun, so small machine would probably be fine. Also can I play back through my home stereo? So we view lyrics on our TV? How do we get started? thanks

Dell 725 printer. Brand new Series 6 Dell color cartridge, when I install I get "Unsupported Cartridge" error message.

Printer is long past warranty, of course, so don't know how to reach Dell for advice without paying for extended warranty.

Anyone got any ideas pls?

I can access columns via the Format menu, but it's not showing on the Formatting status bar--any idea how I can get it to show?
