If, in some parallel universe giving up a raise for two years meant a world series championship-would you?

There are no instructors withing a radius of 200 miles that teach water boxing. Is one able to follow a book carefully or DVD to learn this?

I take Tai' Chi with practical application (Cheng-Yang Form). My instructor, who trained in both Aikido and Tai Chi for twenty years show practical Aikido application through the Tai chi forms- has anyone ever created a form that evolved from the two? It would seem a logical next step. Also-is it possible to master Tai Chi wiithout being able to emit fajing?.
