I have seen them at Elitch's, at schools, and at the Butterfly Pavilion, but when I search Google, I can't find a thing. They are a group of naturalists and preservationists who go out with their birds, a bald eagle and other raptors, and do presentations in schools. I am a teacher and would like them to visit our school.

I need to take my landlady to court because she's refusing to return my deposit. All I have for her is a PO Box for mailing rent to. But I need a physical address for the sheriff to serve her the court papers. How can I find this informaion? State is California.

Is it the regular minimum wage (7.28) plus tips, or the "restaurant minimum wage" (4.26) and you're expected to make up the difference in tips.

For example, a few years back I lost my job and therefore elected for COBRA coverage to continue my health insurance. I am beginning graduate school in the fall, and the college will automatically enroll me in their health insurance package for the two years that I am there. Can I get COBRA coverage when that ends?

What are the best schools for an M.S. in Education? (Secondary Education) Preferably in the western states and/or northwestern (i.e. CA, OR, WA, AK, CO) states?

Even better would be ones recognized for excellence in science education (my field is chemistry) and those who's methods take into account multiple intelligences.

Does anyone have any suggestions for some good (fiction or non-fiction) books for a 6th grade boy who likes sports (specifically basketball, baseball, and fishing)?

A test prep book has this sentence:

Today, a medical doctor must often make a choice between engaging in private practice or engaging in research.

Several words or phrases are underlined. You are supposed to find the grammatical error. The book says the word "or" is the error, and I can't figure out why. The only thing I can come up with is it should be replaced with "and". Does anyone have any insight on this?

Has anyone ever tried to fly on a commercial airline with crampons and an ice axe? I'm going on a mountaineering trip in Alaska next month and need to bring these things. I don't really want to let them out of my sight (i.e. unlocked luggage) although I know for sure that I couldn't carry them on. Did your luggage get searched, or did you get pulled out of line at security?

What is the vivid green, vaguely-mango-shaped "fruit" that is covered with green spikes that grows in the south-facing canyons of the San Gabriel Mountains in S. California? We saw some up in Big Santa Anita Canyon today. They grow from a plant that looks either like a pea plant or a grapevine. (I put quotes around fruit as I suspect that's what it is, but I'm not sure!)

What is the best school to get an online degree from? (Subject is Master's in Education) Are online degrees looked at with the same respect now as a traditional degree? What if the B.S. is from a traditional university and the masters is from an online source?
