I have heard from numerous people that although New York is a great place - they all seem to have had bad hotels - even 5* hotels reported as being not very good.

I need to know, which areas are best/safest to stay in (this is only for a few days), and any suggestions of good hotels that won't disappoint.

(Taxes etc., are taken from Salary but (hopefully anyway) not from expenses)

My payslip is a mess - what can I do?

The 'taxable', 'deductions' and 'net pay' boxes are empty, and everything is printed in the wrong place. It is totally incomprehensible. This is not the first time I've had a problem - but when I asked for a 're-print', my (very large and well known employer) has refused. I work really hard, but they just don't care when it comes to MY issues.
