Our 5 pound teacup pomeranian was hit by a car last night. (hit and run) Our family isn't taking it well. She was turning two April 30th. She was the greatest little dog. Never barked! Not even when some one came to our door. She NEVER bit any one not even when she played. She was easily house broken. Beautiful puppy and dog. We miss her so much! What have any of you done to lesson the pain? We had a proper burial last night. Prayed over her. I was wondering if we had our minister come out here to pray over her burial plot if that would be "too much"? I miss her so much and so do the rest of my family. All who knew Lexi, loved Lexi! Even my exhusband cried when we called and told him she was dead. He would watch her while we went away. She was truly loved by all who knew her. xoxoLexi R.I.P.

My man and I have lived together for more than 5 years. We met online more than six years ago. I was in a VERY abusive marriage at the time. (wheelchair bound on 1 beating alone) My man got me OUT of there (and all 5 of my kids) in the middle of the night with nothing on our backs but our pj's. (That was Oct 2003)

He is always accusing me of cheating. Last weekend he was accusing me of cheating at the hotel while he slept in the room. I was with my daughter and her speech team where he left us. We took the bus back to the hotel at 11:30pm (he was asleep). We all went to our rooms to get into pj's then back to the hotel conference room for speech "fun nite". The kids and I left the fun at 3:30am. I beat the girls up to our room to be met with the inside lock on the door. I stuck my finger in the door to slide the metal thing off. My bf ran over to the door and shut the door on my finger, bruising it. When he let me in the room he started on me, all the names in the book of horrors. Thank goodness I got there before the girls did. 5 minutes of screaming before he dropped it and the girls showed up. I'm fed up with all his accusations but understand that he was cheated on by his exwife several times throughout their 17 yr relationship so he don't trust women at all.

I need to know what I can do to make him feel more secure? I love him very much. But I can not stand to be accused when I am innocent.

I followed the Nestle recipe perfectly, I got a new recipe from a friend and followed it perfectly...what am I doing wrong? The cookies are flat and have NO consistantcy. Is it the flour I'm using? What type should I be using? It's all purpose that I use. Could the flour be old? I use parkay butter...and margerine...is the butter/flour? Is it the oven? Too hot? Not hot enough? I set it at 350 degree just as the package states. Once i used 375 degree and I couldn't pick up the cookie without it falling apart. I'm totally stumped!

Is this true or false? Over the past 25 years I've been counsoled by all three different types of therapist to help me cope with domestic violence, rape and child molestation by my aunts' husband. I'd been diagnosed by each and every one of them with Post Tramatic Stress Syndrome. My family is arguing with me. I feel this diagnosis is true. Their argument is that none of my therapist have been Phyciatrist...in their eyes the ONLY one to make a proper diagnosis. I was told by professionals that is not true. All the others may make a diagnosis but ONLY the phyciatrist or MD can prescribe medication for any symptoms of mental illnesses. Which my family doctor prescribes my medication to help with anxiety & panic attacks. Some one please shed some light on this for me. My family, with NO authority of mental illnesses, refuse to believe my therapist diagnosis is true. & YES, my family iare dysfunctional! My oldest sis is diagnosd bi-polar/manic. I am NOT! She swears I am. I have NO symptms!

If I'm alone can I just do the singing part with out the guitar or drums? My step son bought it last week and I've been doing the singing but want to practice cuz I'm not familiar with the songs he likes to play. So would I be able to just do the singing part when no one else is home?

I thought it was a smart move for the entire group as a whole but Pavorti just skinned herself a live with James! So unless they vote James off next he may end up getting them all to vote her off! Yikes on her part! I liked Ozzy but it's not fun to watch if you already know who will win it all. I need a natural muscle relaxer...are there any?

Is there a way to stablize it? He broke it into 4 pcs Sept 17th in a soccer game for his high school. Last thurs he shattered it in his sleep when he rolled from his stomach to his back. Then today he fell going UP our stairs and when he caught himself with both hands the splinters are now visible through the skin on top of the other broken pc. The splinters are the size of peas. Isn't there a way to keep all these broken pcs more stable or is he going to be breaking bone into even MORE pcs every 4-6 days? HELP, please...we see another specialist tomorrow at 1:30pm, this is from the 2nd break and now it's a 3rd break...

males will have an involuntary errection approx 40 min into that sleep cycle. Thereby giving them approx 3-4 each night. So if a man is having a hard time getting an errection during waking hours some times the doctor will order a sleep study on him to see if he is getting the involuntary errection or not. If he is not then it is more likely a medical problem and not a phycological problem. Any one know if the involuntary errection is true or not?

diagnostic test comes back neg to any problems, however, problem still exist. already replaced, fuel pump, fuel pump, air filter, coil pad...drove 3 miles seemed ok...stopped at store...started back up were able to drive 3 more miles before the van just stopped on us. 3 hours later we were able to get the thing started and bring it home. Weve had it to 3 diff garages and no one seems to know whats wrong with it. None of them have found any problems. Please...can any one help with this? Can't afford another car...

I am NOT one of those types of ppl during a committed relationship to wish to add another to our bedroom. I feel that that sort of stuff should be delt with before committing to one person. Y'know the experimetation stages of life. (early 20's) I realize it's a fantasy of many but I also feel that once that fantasy is made into a reality the committed relationship is ultimately doomed! My b/f says stuff sometimes "during" & it turns me OFF. I wonder if he is truly serious! I point out to him that if he wishes to watch another man make it with me the guy would have to be a HUNK. let's face it...if I could find a HUNK to make sweet love to me...i'd probably ditch him! No diff than if he was to find a gorgeous woman to "" with him. I'm not willing to take that chance! Why would he wanna keep mentioning this stupid fantasy during even after I told him it doesn't turn ME on??? Is he serious then? He truly wants to add a couple to our bedroom or another man/woman? My daughter is 14 and in the 8th grade. I noticed a boy texting her a lot last week. I thought he was around her age but found out he is a jr in high school. (11th grade) I feel this is too old for her. Boys that age aren't looking for a "date" or "soul mate". My daughter is too naive and wishes for a boyfriend very much. I'm afraid what she might be talked into for fear of being rejected. This boy is good looking & looks older than his age, which is 17. What is he doing asking MY 14yr old daughter out? She stood him up last friday when he asked her to meet him at the movie theater. She didn't feel comfortable meeting him in front of his friends alone. She wouldn't of been allowed in the movie since it was NR17. So he told her he'd meet her at her track meet tonight & take her to see Disturbia tomorrow night since it's PG13 & she's been wanting to go see it. He can date high school girls...why is he getting my daughters hopes up? She's too young. I've told her this but I'm just mom.

On my mother's side, the women, have diabetes. All but one, didn't get it til after their 35th bdays. One got the diagnosis at age 12, died of diabetic complications at the age of 33. Her sugar levels were well over 250 when tested. It was nothing for her sugar to go up or over 300. Or for her sugar to be found in her urnine. The other women, their sugar ranges 175-215. I've had hypo type diabetes since high school. In the past two months or less, I've been having symptoms of the hyper, but thinking it was the hypo. I went to my doc last friday. He told me to monitor my sugar level min 4xday. That's when I found out my sugar level has been 144 (2hrs after lunch), 154 (1hr45min after dinner), 150 (1 hr after breakfast) retested at 1.5 hrs my sugar level was 186! Then 3hrs later 74! I'm flippin...not sure when to eat, when not to eat. How much...what is considered ok, what is high? 3 hrs after lunch, driving long dist. i got sick, checked my sugar level, 188! I was thnkn it was low but

I realize when ppl click on my profile & some read my questions that there isnt any place for me to tell what came of each issue I asked about. I got to wondering if anyone else ever checked on other ppl's questions to see what issues they were dealing with & wondered "what ever happened"? A lot of the advice I got from several ppl who've answered helped. I now have the confidence to stand up for my rights in this relationship I'm in. I'm saying NO now instead of "yes dear". I'm happier with the way it's all turning out. My b/f has new respect for me now that I won't take his crap. He is nicer to me, although hard time with money issues still. I just feel that I'm finally "getting some where" instead of not known which way to turn. All thanks to the serious answers I get from Yanswers. Has anyone else felt like this? I've often wondered "what's happened to the girl who asked about which parent to live with" or "did that guy ever ask his wife for a divorce"...just as examples.

My oldest son came up with an idea of getting matching tattoos while he's in from USAF tour. He wants us to design a family crest that portrays all we've been thru together. (we had a hard life, we conquered the past, our future is bright) I have 5 kids, i don't believe in tattoos but when he put it like that...I want to do this! The pain the tattoo will cause us while getting it will be symbolic of the pain in our past, the family crest will be symbolic that NO matter what life throws our way WE can over come it! I don't want mine to show so I figured on the top of my big toe. I wear a bikini in the summer so I can't think of another place to put it without causing me to PASS out in pain. lol My b/f hates tattoos, he has NO clue were going to do this. I figured he can't complain if it's on my TOE. Socks cover them! He could never understand the meaning of this tattoo, he had a good life. This is really important, all my kids will get this same tattoo, once they all reach 18.

I don't get it. I've been living with my b/f for more than 3 yrs. My exhusband just celebrated his one yr mark with his g/f. Perhaps we can meet early on fri 2 talk?" He's been texting me about how our marriage didn't work out but that we shouldnt tell the kids why. That we should lie to them. What good will the truth be to them now that were already divorced. The truth?! HE BEAT ME UP! HE went to JAIL...criminal court! 5th degree misdimeaner, one degree more it would of been a felony! She says it's hard to brush b/c it's hard to reach. She don't really think about what she looks like. She is 12 & in the 6th grade. She sort of has a desire to cut it. But her parents are controlling & desire her to have long hair for the attention they get. "Your daughter has such long hair!" What can she do about this? She has taken it upon herself to cut it. Very badly I have to admit. I evened it out for her and it looks much nicer now. But I can't seem to get her to brush it out every day. By Sunday her hair is ratty nest. She needs some advice as do I on this matter. She is sitting beside me now. Please respond...

My kindergartener keeps picking his nasty boogers & EATING them! I almost threw up the other day in the store< I turned around & caught him about to put the nastiest slimey booger into his mouth! Eww, GROSS! I've given him tissues to keep in his coat pockets, put him in time outs, but he still does this! How to get him to finally stop?!!! Once and for all...??? I am so sorry for grossing y'all out...but I really need to know how to get him to stop before I throw up!

My daughter is 4.5 yrs old. Her long hair goes almost to her bum. I was looking at it today as she played in the BK play area thinking it might be time to cut it straight across mid back (aka bra line). I don't really care for hair that a kid can sit on, habitat for lice, etc. it's getting close but might take till summer to get there. Should I wait til summer to cut it or just cut it now? Why the dilima over hair length? My oldest daughter didn't get long hair till she was in the 5th grade. She cut her own hair at 3 yrs old so bad it had to be evened out at 1 inch all over her head! She looked like a boy for 3 yrs after! So this daughter we let her hair grow abnormally long for us. However, we've gotten so use to it growing that now it seems a shame to cut it. But I've never been one to let it grow past the "bra line". She'll be going into kindergarten next fall if this helps any. I know for school she must wear it up or cut it shorter (bra line) for their policy there. Cut or not?

Can anyone direct me to a website that can shed some light on this? My b/f works in autobody - "flat rate". The boss says he has authority to make these guys work 7am-7pm M-Saturday and maybe Sunday too! NO incentives to work all this overtime. NO bonus, no bonus time off, or any other incentives. Salaried employees get a yearly income that has nothing to do with the hours they work. Hourly rates get time and 1/2 for any hours worked past 40, double time on Sundays. Flat rate is paid by the job order. Each car has an approved amt of hours from each insurance company so if the car pays 36 hours but he gets it done in 21 hrs he's still paid 36 hrs for it. He did a job that only paid 16 hrs and it took 29 hrs to do it, so it all works out in the end but to add all this MANDATORY over time with NO incentives is crazy! He cleared 155 hours in two weeks just working his normal 40 hours a week. If he gets more than 200 hours the taxes are too much, he brings home LESS! What to do?
