How Does This System Work?

Someone asked me the other day what kind of car I drive.

I told him that I drive a two-door car

(all sports cars are 2-door).

I didn't want to be specific for personal reasons.

He then said that he thought that only pimps drive two-door cars.

(He said it twice as I did not react to his statement)

This statement has been bothering me as I don't know how to take it.

I would like to know what others think of that kind of statement.

How would you have reacted to it?
