I was listening to Rush Limbaugh (of all people) who said that he's been hearing rumors that Obama might change his running mate in October. It's just rumor, but what do you think?

I'm working on a necklace for my father. We are in a paranormal investigation group, and he is a sensitive. He wanted to have a talisman for going on hunts (and everyday really). He has something now that I made for him, but then I got an idea....

We are taking a piece from a set of antlers (the base, it would make a little medallion shape) and making a necklace out of it for him to wear. He has a celtic cross that I will "charm" for protection, and the antler piece is for psychic sight, since deer is known for psychic attunness and wisdom.

Before PETA people get on me... My family is of Native American origin, my father has been a hunter all his life, we respect the animal and the nourishment it provides.

Here is my question: I want to put some type of symbol on the piece (much like a rune) that either translates to the animal itself or its metaphysical attributes. Any suggestions? Go easy on me... I'm not the greatest artist!

Here's our dilemma: We just moved into a new house, and the windows are all the crank-angled kind (I don't know the technical term), so window AC units don't work. Instead of buying a brand new one (which we did last year, before we moved)... Can you rig a window unit to work as a free standing air conditioner?

My fiance and I are planning our wedding for October, and to go along with the warm, harvest theme, we were thinking about serving several different soups and sandwiches for our reception (along with cake of course).

It will be a mid-day wedding and reception, about Ceremony from 1-2pm, then the reception from maybe 3-6pm. We won't be having a DJ because we can't afford it (just some soft Celtic music in the background) and we will probably be leaving for our honeymoon the next day (early morning flight to Ireland).

Is this meal choice appropriate for the time of day?

When my cat play by herself, sometimes she makes a hissing noise at her toys. It's not a real hiss like you would think, more like a "sigh" through her nose. She does it other times too, when she's putzing around, and exploring. Is this normal? What does it mean?

I'm 22, 5'2, and weigh almost 300. I've been dieting all my life and nothing has worked. I'm trying a smaller portion, frequent eating type diet at the moment, and my chest/stomach are feel like they are seizing/cramping. It's not crampy like menstrual crampy, but it feels like the muscles are contracting for no reason. Is this stuff all linked?
