  • Does it count as domestic violence if the female tries to cause harm?

I've heard it said that when women hit men, men should not hit women back because "men are stronger than women". So does that mean that if a woman is stronger than a man she shouldn't hit HIM?

I don't have all the details, but I'm guessing that former olympian Picabo Street is probably stronger, faster, and more agile than her 76-year old father.

    What say ye?

  • Should Air conditioners be banned for sexism?

According to some guy (Marc Hill), he believes air conditioning is sexist against women because the settings used keep men comfortable.

He whines about how women have blankets and scarves in the office (but makes no mention of how men need to wear suits, even in the summer, whereas women can wear "summer clothes").

He even called a mathematical equation 'sexist'. Fortunately, the scientist (a biophysicist from the Netherlands) set him straight.

So what say ye? Are men (and air conditioning) sexist pigs for keeping the workplace cool? Should we only make things comfortable for women? Or should women dress more appropriately? (i.e. no low cut tops, short skirts, semi-transparent blouses, spaghetti straps, etc. or whatever women like to wear to work?)

I'm referring to the following article:

  • Men are now responsible for a woman's bad choices?

Apparently, "the patriarchy" is responsible for the death of Amy Winehouse, and not the fact that she chose to be a substance abuser.

She also made some bad romance choices, (but didn't seem to want to get out of them).

I don't remember "male entitlement" being blamed for Janis Joplin, who was eulogized after her drug abuse death. But I wasn't around then so who knows.

Does that mean women can now do whatever they want guilt-free because men are ultimately responsible? Does that mean we (men) can also take responsibility for their successes? Or is it just their failures?

  • If I was drunk at a casino and started gambling, is the casino legally obligated to not take advantage of me?

I’m not talking about being unconscious. I’m talking about drunk but sober enough to make a decision (whether or not to gamble my money away). If I lost all my money gambling, and the next day complained to the management that they took advantage of me, would I have recourse? Should I be able to press charges against them? Or would they consider my claim ridiculous?

I ask because feminists like to claim that people (i.e. women) who are drunk and agree to sex are still raped. (what I like to refer to as “buyer’s remorse” sex)

While I don’t agree in taking advantage of a drunk girl, neither do I consider it a crime if she agreed to it. (I’m not talking about someone passed out – I’m talking about a drunk person who is sober enough to consent).

So would feminists try to use this same argument in Vegas if they lost their money, or do they only use this excuse with men?

  • If feminists had been in charge of the abolitionist movement, would they have only freed female slaves?

I hear all the time from feminists that it’s not their job fight for men’s rights – that they (men) should do that themselves. However, the abolitionist movement and civil rights movement was inclusive of both men and women (it wasn’t just for males).

So would feminist have told the guys “screw you – go free yourselves”? Because it seems that way, judging simply by the way so many feminists talk.

  • if you are a misandrist, does that mean you would turn down help from a male?

When it comes to jobs such as police officer or fireman or soldier, feminists make a big deal about how women can do anything a man can. Granted some women are able to perform fairly well, but in general, women tend to be smaller frame and therefore not as strong. Yet they insist on putting women in these dangerous jobs and paying them the same (even though they cannot perform the same, in general).

If you were in trouble and need to be carried out to safety (such as in a fire) would you prefer to see a man coming up that ladder to rescue you, or a woman?

If a man was coming up the ladder, would you insist on a female, because you believe in "equality", and would you tell that male firefighter to get back down and send someone else? Would you turn down his help if you were a man-hating feminist?

There is a saying: "There are no atheists in foxholes". In the same vein, I maintain that there are no feminists in a burning building. What say ye?

  • What do you think of this question?

Is this person just upset because nobody agreed with their question and because they did not get the answer they were looking for? Or do they have a valid point?
