Okay, well this sounds pretty cliche, but there is a girl we'll just call M in my class this year and all of a sudden she stole practically ALL the attention from EVERYONE.

Note: I be in TINY school. Only 8 kids in the whole grade, so its hard when everyone is paying attention to ONE PERSON.

We are the only two girls. M and I get along good usually, but its so hard to have all the guys shunning me and acting like I'm obnoxious and fawning over her.

The only people I've really got are a couple girls in lower grades who had their friends sucked in by M...

but recently M started being pretty rude to me. When I asked her about it recently (after getting really pissed and fighting with her) she said she was getting a little sick of me.

OF ME? I mean, I am there for her when she needs it, am a good friend a lot of the time and such. But why be sick of me? I mean, she said its just been a long year and shes sick of me but....

there are so many others to be sick of. The girl who copies everything down to her giggle. The girls who throw pebbles at me and are stuck up and obsess over her.

Why am I ALWAYS the odd one out, the sore thumb, the black sheep among the white...you know!? Its been like this my whole life and I just get so depressed. God.

UGH. Sorry, I just needed an emotion spill.

Anyway, the question is:

why be sick of me?? And why always me?

Well, my mom met this guy who is basically sort of a loser and talks A LOT! (about himself) He is trying to contact her through work, but we all think he has dating in mind. Recently, he invited her to a cultural fair as his "could be client" sometime in June, and she doesn't really want to go. I told her to say how she felt (like he was trying to hook up) straight out, but he's trying to act like he only has professional work stuff on the mind and there's nothing to worry about. What should she say to him? How should she tell him she not interested in a business-like way?
