Im currently using the L'oreal true match foundation in rose vanilla but would like to try the Revlon colorstay foundation for a change.

I just wondered if anyone had used the L'oreal in the same colour as me and has also tried the revlon colorstay foundation and could tell me which shade matched for them?

Just wanted to ask what can a 9month old eat??

At the moment he has weetabix and a bottle formula in the morning, then a whole jar of baby food and little pudding, then he will have another bottle in the afternoon, then he usually has ether what we have for dinner or a jar and a bottle before bed time.

He has 7 teeth so far so has no problems with chewing food, I just wanted to drop the baby food jars and just let him have what the rest of our family has for dinner like Shepard's pie (which he loves), mac cheese, spag bowl etc (obviously without any added salt)

Is it ok for him to eat all these kind of things??

Also what other food would be good to give my son for lunch??

Hi everyone, I just wondered if anyone knew how long it can take to get a proper diagnosis for back pain?

Ive had low back pain since I was around 16, I am now 23 and have more severe longer lasting episodes of pain.

It seems ill go less days say a week without the pain and the rest of the month with it, my doctor had reffered me for an MRI im still waiting to hear back about an appointment. I went back to my GP today to ask about getting different painkillers as paracetmol / ibuprofen / cocodomal do nothing for the pain but he told me he cant find anything wrong so cannot justify giving me stronger tablets and prescribed me 400mg of ibruprofen.

Every morning I wake up my back is so stiff and painfull its a struggle to get out of bed, i can hardly do my daily routines and i have 2 young children to look after which is so hard as i can hardly move or bend without my back seizing up or being in severe pain.

The top of my legs and thighs are startinf to ache and it hurts now just to walk.

My mother has arthritis of the facet joints in her back and has had so many painkillers, hospital appointments etc over the years but my doctor dosent see my problem.

How long does it usually take to find out what the problem is? And how long do appointments for an MRI take to come in the post? Im getting tired of being in pain constantly and im just physically exhausted now :(

Im wondering if anyone else has experienced nightmares / night terrors with their little ones and could possibly help me out.

Ive just been up to my nine month old son as he started screaming in his sleep, when i got upstairs his eyes were still shut but he was screaming and writhing about in his cot.

I tried to hush him to sleep and let him know mummy was there but had no luck and he was still the same.

I did get him out his cot and try and cuddle him but he was just flailing around so much, his hair was soaked in sweat.

Think it was about 5- 10mins before he sort of woke up n calmed down, in about 2minutes he was back to sleep.

Can babys have nightmares / night terrors at his age?

This has happened before and he is always unconsolable untill he wakes up?

Any info would be apprieciated, thank you :)

Hiya, Me and my partner were thinking of going to thorpe park soon and I was just looking at ticket prices and noticed you can buy the disabled tickets with 1 free carer entry.

I just wondered if there was any criteria you had to meet for these tickets (apart from the obvious lol) Or anything you would need to take with you like proofs?

Hiya, I have just painted my hall, stairs and landing in magnolia, but the wall up the stairwell looks like it has shiny patches when the sunlight hits it so i thought that maybe I could use the wallpaper I have brought for when i do my living room to wallpaper that one wall.

Would it look odd to have just the one wall up the stairs wallpapered? My partner thinks it will even though we are only planning on wallpapering the one wall in the living room too?

Hi Need a bit of advice, Ive just had a call from child tax credits saying I need to repay an overpayment of £2000 from 2008 - 2011 from when my partner and I broke up, apparently I never informed them we split in 2008 ( even though im sure I did as informed everyone else ) and only told them in 2011.

What im confused about is If i am entilted to Child tax credits and the amount ive recieved whilst on a couples and a single claim is the same amount then how can I of been overpaid?

Can i appeal this in anyway? As when I was on a single claim I recieved £50 a week and when we were claiming as a couple it was £50 also?

Hi everyone, Sorry if TMI!

Im currently 40 weeks + 6 days and had my first membrane sweep today.

My midwife said my cervix is 3cm dilated, very stretchy and 50% effaced, Also that she had to be very careful whilst doing the sweep not to break my waters as they were right there and bulging, she was surprised I hadnt already gone into labor.

I had the sweep at 10.45am today and noticed some mucus discahrge with a little bit of a pink tinge to it about 2 hours after, I just went to the loo and when i wiped noticed there was a lot more mucus discharge but it was streaked with bright red blood?

Ive been losing bits of my mucus plug since about 35 weeks and it has never been bloody.

This is my second baby and I went into labor pretty quickly after my bloody show with my first that was bright red blood aswell.

so im wondering Is this normal after the sweep or could it be the bloody show?

Does anyone know which scans are more accurate in terms of calculating your EDD?

My LMP was the 7th of feb which gave me a due date of the 13th november.

Then due to a few problems I had two early scans one on 22nd march which put me at 5 weeks and 5 days and the next on 5th april which put me at 7 weeks 5 days which both gave me the same due date of today, the 17th november.

But my 12 and 20 week gave me a EDD of the 20th november.

Which scans are more accurate? the early ones or the 12week + ones?

This is my second baby and I think ive already been having pre-labor "signs" such as baby dropping, increased pressure down there, loose BM and losing parts of mucus plug ( TMI sorry ) So hoping labours not too far off for me now :)

but this has been bugging me as i only had one EDD with my first child who ended up being a week over anyway :)

Hiya, I was just wondering if I could use a photo album as a album for a scrapbook? Basically ive got a small photo album with the plastic pockets which I thought I could use for storing my scrapbook pages? Im pretty new to scrapbooking and was thinking of doing a small one to start with, but im not sure if this would be a good idea or if it would look good??

Hiya everyone Im a bit worried about all the cracks that seem to be appearing around my house.

I live in a 2 floor maisonette with another maisonette above me but ive noticed that my skirting boards are coming away from the walls and so are the door frames?

One door frame in my hallway is really bad, my 4 year old can put his finger behind it, my skirting boards are splitting at their joins and also coming away from my walls.

I have 2 very long straight vertical cracks in my bedroom on opposite sides of the wall the top half above the crack is uneven with the bottom, in my hallway it looks like someones just put the ceiling on top of the walls as there are long cracks along where the ceiling and top wall joins and are also slightly off.

Also when i stand on my stairs and look up to where im guessing the people who live above my houses stairs are the square bit ( not sure how to explain it properly) but that also has cracks along both sides where it attatches to the wall and then has smaller fracture like cracks running from the side cracks up in the middle of it??

should I be concerned? the cracks seem quite deep and are almost all the way along the ceiling / wall joins if that makes sence?

what could be making everything crack and come away like this?

Im currently 8 weeks pregnant with my second child. I went for a scan on thursday and everything was growing well and it all looked good.

But last night I was woken up with stomach pains, I thought it was just the pain you get when you wake up in the morning and have a full bladder from sleeping all night, So I went to the toilet but that didn't seem to ease it. It eased off a little after about 10minutes and I mananged to fall asleep again.

I was wondering if getting the odd stomach ache is normal? I also suffer from IBS, Could that be what it was?

Every little ache and pain I get tends to worry me, So any ideas / advice would be helpfull

Hi everyone, Basically I have naturally curly hair but was ridiculed at school about it :( so from the age of 13 I have been constantly straightening and relaxing it to try and get it straight.

Im 21 now and really want to have nice curly hair again.

But to be honest I have no idea how to care for my hair when its curly or how to get the best out of it?

I always have the problem of it feeling really dry and frizzy, I washed it last night and combed it through while it was still wet and its not so bad this morning, but what can i do to make it look healthier and more shiny? I've heard about using olive oil on it? but how should i use it?

and also is there anyway i can get more volume to the back of my hair? as it always seems kind of flat compared to the sides?

I remember watching an animated film a while back and I cant remember what its called!

Basically from what I can remember the world is ruined and they live on a floating city above the citys below where these werid shadowy monsters or something are living now and its covered by a big shield dome to stop these monster things getting in?

Theres a doctor or scientist and a girl who are trying to find souls? or wonders of the worlds? I think she gets one from a bird and a dying girl? I think but I cant be too sure but I know its something like that.

In the end it turns out that the girl is infact the last soul/wonder they need?

Hopefully someone will have a clue what im talking about as im going crazy trying to remember the name! and google is no help at all :)

Yesterday i posted a question about my new cat ( who is 1 and a half ) and now i have another question if anyone can help.

Ive had her since yesterday and I got given the whiska pouches by her previous owners and they said that was what she is used to having, I gave her half yesterday which she ate then another half later that day but she didn't touch it? today I gave her some more around morning and its now nearly 2pm and she has hardly touched it?

I feel that she is underweight, her shoulder blades are very pronounced and her hips poke out she has very little fat on her! so im worried about her not eating as she obviously needs a bit more weight on her.

She has also only used the litter box once since she got here? Im not expecting her to be going to use it every minute but i thought it a bit odd only once in the last 24 + hours? but i suppose this might be because of her not eating? im not sure, im taking her to the vets this week for a check up and i shall ask them about it when i get there but im a little worried that something might be wrong with her?

Is there anything that could put her off food? or should i try a different type?

Hi everyone I got a new cat today but she wont let my son near her, she went missing for 2 hours (Finally found her under the freezer asleep ) and my son had missed her all day so when we found her she went off exploring into my sons room, he was all excited that we had found her and followed her around to try and stroke her I was trying to explain that she would come to him when she wanted and she might be feeling a bit scared because shes in a new place but he still tried then she hissed at him.

I was wondering will she stop hissing at him? she has no problem with me or my partner and has rubbed up on our legs wanting some fuss a few times today but steers clear of my son ( who's 4years old ), When we went to pick her up the people said they were getting rid of her as their young daughter kept beating the cat up, could this be why the cat is wary of my son? seen as the children are so close in age?? and how would i go about trying to build the trust between them?

I know its early days yet as its all new for her but Just wanted to get some advice :) xx thank you

What the best foundation that people have used? Im using loreal visible lift foundation at the moment but it makes my skin look dry and cakey when i put it on then my skin looks oily at the end of the day! Need one thats around the £10 mark and also how do i make it stay on for longer..? It just seems to soak into my skin within hours! so pretty fed up with it all need some help :)

This is really bugging me, I have had the old implant (implanon) in before and for the 3 years that i had it i had regular periods as usual, i had it replaced september 2010.

Untill last month my periods have been regular like clockwork, last month i only had very very light bleeding which lasted a couple of hours the only time i have ever had this is when i was pregnant with my son in 2007.

Im just waiting now to see if ill get this months but so far no sign :/

I feel im being a bit paranoid thinking what if im pregnant but i know of a few women who have got pregnant using the implanon implant so i know the implant isnt 100%

Ive been getting nauseous, i cant seem to eat without feeling sick after and even some smells make me feel sick also.

Bloating, aching and have been getting very emotional and moody much to my partners dismay

I did a cheap home pregnancy test which came back neg so was going to wait to see and do another in a few weeks,

I know the implant is supposed to be 99% but do you think its possible to be pregnant?

Ok i have a lime hawk moth in my house and it has spent the last 24hours on my door frame when i checked on it earlier i found it had moved (to my other wall) but left red drips all down the frame! is is moth poop or something else?, im not sure where the moth has got to now :/
