My little Pug has developed a very itchy skin, despite several trips to the vet, regular medicated baths a diet of hypoallergenic food the problem persists. I have asked for a referral from my vet to see a canine dermatologist .... does any one know what might help until his appointment comes through. I've tried antihistamine ... Helped a little.

I have a set of larger than average solar lights. They are about 3 years old, in this time I have replaced the rechargeable batteries in the ones that were failing. However I have 2 that despite new batteries are not functioning . Is there some thing else I can check or are they just past it.

Does any one know why the photo cropper for editing your own personal avatar does not function.

It appears as a square ready to crop and says move in place to crop however it will not move in any direction or alter in size. You can see by my avatar the problem I'm having.

I have a bog standard Sat Nav that I bought when they first came out. I have since returned from Cornwall and realised that I do need to update after being sent down all sorts of near impossible back road tracks despite being set for main routes only. I would also like a device that tells me what lane to get into on motorways etc. My old gadget often seems unable to locate a signal so I sometimes have to just guess if no signposts are about. Is the Satelite locater improved on the newer models.

I am of that age where I love to listen to debates etc instead of thumping music. LBC is one of my favourites but I can only listen to this when I drive nearer London ...I live in Southampton. Other than erecting a Satellite dish on the roof of my car is there any other alternative way to receive a better signal.

I have a live spider stuck in my pc screen. I have no idea how it got inside. The problem is how do I get it out. I hasten to add this is not a wind up...I am genuinely baffled as to how it got in there and even more concerned as to get the blighter out.

Can any one offer any suggestions for the Relief of catarrh. I have suffered from this for 2 years. I use decongestant sprays antihistamine tabs, steam etc. These sometimes help but for only short periods of time. Not to be too graphic but the catarrh is always green so this would indicate that it is infected.I have tried antibiotics from my doctor which did nothing at all. I would be most grateful for any sensible suggestions.

A few shrubs in my garden ie Camelia and another evergreen plant have several of their leaves covered in what looks like watered down soot. Can anyone shed some light on what this is and how it can be treated. A friend a few miles from me has the same problem with their Camelia.

I have signed various petitions over time (a very small input) but as of yet this evil industry is showing no signs of stopping.Has any one got any brainwaves how this unspeakable torture can be ended.It appears to be out of any ones capabilities.
