My fiance has full custody of his 9 year old daughter. The mother is completely out of the picture. I moved in with them a few months ago, and we are in the process of moving to another neighborhood. Sadly, this new neighborhood puts his daughter in a new school district. His daughter is excited for the move but has some hesitation about not seeing some of her friends from school. Since our place is currently overcrowded with moving boxes, I suggested having a sleepover once we get settled into the new place. The problem I have is how do I approach her friends parents to ask if they can come stay the night. Her father feels uncomfortable asking and wants me to extend the invitation. What is the best way to introduce myself and open the communication to extend the invitation?

I believe it was a made for tv film. I saw it late night around 2005ish, and it appeared to be filmed in the late 80's early 90's. I can't remember any actors or what the name is.

It starts with a brief history on the Van Damme family,in the 1600's, I believe or 1400's, a woman who loved herself so much she would only sleep with her twin brother. When incest was outlawed, the family moved away so they could continue the incest.

Then it shows present day, a man, who has mismatched eyes and long brown hair, on a boat with his wife, a blonde, on their way to an island where he was supposedly born. He is sick with an illness that the doctors can't diagnose and they think that finding his birth parents will answer the mystery.

Once on the island, they notice that the grave yard has been dug up, apparently the mortician, a shady character, has been scamming the local residents.

They discover that he is from a rich family, who is never seen and kept to them selves, and is rumored to only marry themselves. A maid, I think, found him when he was a baby, with claws made out of bone tied to his wrist. She takes him, and puts him up for adoption.

The doctor of the island, tells the man that he is sick because of his family. To prove a point, he gives the man a fetus in a jar of formaldehyde and tells him to eat it. After a struggle with his wife, the man eats the fetus, and the illness seems to vanish.

It comes out that the Van Damme family lives under ground, having grown so mutated due to incest, that they can not stand the light. They feed off the buried, but when the graves are dug up by investigators, the family attack. The village takes cover in a light house.

At the end, the wife falls through a whole in the middle of the light house and the man jumps down to save her. He trades himself for his wife's safety. When he enters the family den, where all his mutated relatives live underground, he finds out he has a twin sister who welcomes him with open arms. Voice over suggests he slept with her.

That is all I remember of the movie. I have not been able to find any information on this movie. If you have seen it, or know what it is, I would really like to know the name of it. Thanks.

Lately I have wanted to research my family ancestry to see where we all come from. I decided that if there were any Coat of arms or Crests I wanted to get plaques of them and hang them in my family room, on a wall I call the 'family wall'. Now my real question is, would it be tacky to include step families as well? My grandmother remarried a few years before I was born. All my life, he has been there, always been called 'granddaddy', he is the first person I think of when someone mentions a grandparent. He has done more for me then my blood grandfathers. He has a signet ring with his family Coat of arms. He wears it daily, so I've memorized it years ago. I found a plaque I like with his Coat of arms and Crest on it. I decided to get it for his birthday. Would it be tacky and offensive to also get one to add to my family wall? I don't want to offend him or my other relatives.

Yesterday at work I had a customer come up to me and tell me I looked and spoke exactly like an actress from the show 24. I have never seen the show before and I have no idea who she was talking about. I told her this and she said she couldn't remember the actress' name in the show but that she was really smart. Now I'm curious as to which actress she was talking about. Does anyone know which actress she was talking about?

I'm picking up my first bearded dragon tomorrow night and from what I learned through research, you should set up the tank a few days before, so you can get the temperatures and lighting perfect. The problem I am having is that on the cool side, if I use a 75 watt basking bulb it is too cool and if I use a 100 watt basking bulb its too hot. Any suggestions on how I can fix this? I have the correct uvb/uva bulbs and the red bulb on the hot side an that is at 113 degrees Fahrenheit while the cool side is either 54 degrees (with the 75 watt bulb) or 90 degrees (with the 100 watt bulb). Any suggestions would be more than helpful. Thank you.

A friend of mine just installed vinyl floor in her den. The floor has a red-brown slate tile look to it. I currently have real slate tiles in my bearded dragons tank, but I keep having to replace them every so often due to constant chips and flaking. (I don't want to hurt my bearded dragon. ) Could I use the remnants of the vinyl floor instead?

I'm getting a bearded dragon on Monday. The beardie is tan with bright red stripes. I heard from a friend, who has only heard from someone else, that you have to feed the beardie specific foods to maintain their color, or else they fade. Is that true or was my friend misinformed? If it is true, what food should I feed her to maintain her bright red color?

I'm talking to someone who is selling there red bearded dragon. They claim to have bought the dragon from Rich Beasley, a breeder I found a website for. The owner has e-mailed me the genetics of the dragon but I have no idea what I'm looking at.

What does that mean?

I just purchased a twin extra long mattress set and am having a hard time finding a bed set that I like and matches my style that also fits that size. Could I use a double comforter instead? I found a few in that size that I like but I'm not sure if they would fit length wise. I already have sheets that will fit the mattress I just need a quilt or comforter. Has anyone ever tried this before? Any suggestions would be more that helpful.

I recently rescued an abandoned kitten who is probably around 5-8 weeks old. I know how much vet bills can get, even for a healthy pet, so I was thinking of getting her insurance, but I don't know of any good companies. Can anyone suggest a good insurance company that works in the state of Virginia? How's the rates and coverage? Any help would be necessary. Thanks for your time and help.

I found a kitten under my trailer and found out she was abandoned so I decided to keep her. She is probably around 4-5 weeks old. I know it is close to when she needs her shots and de-wormed but I have no idea how much that will cost. I live in Williamsburg, Virginia if that helps. I'm going to get them done, so don't worry about that I just want to know, so I can make sure I have it with me when I take her. It causes you to noticeably twitch. Most people who have it usually end up in a wheel chair. It is not M.S. or Parkinson's or Huntington's. I believe it may end with five but am not sure. I found an old 22 rifle in the attic and I have never seen anything like it. IT was made in Germany and has a weird S symbol on the barrow ans on the side. I have a picture of the rifle and the symbol on my Flickr account. Can anyone help me figure out what type of rifle it is or who made it?
