Question pretty much sums it up. I want to make some solar light jars for my patio but want them blue, so wanted to modge podge some light blue paper to it. Will there by still be enough light to lite them at night or do I need to keep taking out the light to charge in the sun during the day?

I am using this recipe, but with canned peaches instead of apples.

I've tried it once in the past but it ended up soggy. How do I adjust either cooking times/temps or the recipe for canned peaches? Cut the butter since it will be the only 'liquid'?

Hi, I have a 1lb chuck roast I'd like to make, I don't know how long to cook it though. Any ideas?

I am making a dragon in white clay and want to add small colored detail pieces to it. For now I'd just like to add some polka-dots. When I bake the clay, all I have is white clay, it turns out more of an off-white. So if I were to add the dots before baking, I'd still need to paint around them, which would be difficult considering they are so small and a few of them. I am not sure how glue would work though... Any ideas?

You can consider me a newbe cook/baker or even a newer than newbe.... Anyway I made steak...didn't know anything about fat and such so I just left it on. All I was interested in was how to cook it and how long. Anyway so now I have this steak with 1/2 inch of fat along one edge. Is there anything I can do with it since it's already cooked? I tried to cut it off, but I have 1/4 inch of meat on it... I am probably gonna end up throwing it out, but just for future reference, what can be done with it? Oh, I broiled it, if that helps any.

When I go to open my game (SilkRoad if it matters) I get the User Account Control popup, which I prompt it to let me open my game, however it happens every time I open it. The game's icon has the UAC icon in the corner of it. Is there a way I can turn off the UAC for this game only?

I am looking to make a mobile site and want to know if it is possible that when I create the site that I have pages to which people can decide to call the number. Like they find info on page A and want to call the person on page A. Can they do that? Or someone on page D? I've found a few free-ish sites that have a call option but only to one number. Does anyone have any ideas online mobile site builders with this feature?

I'd like to make pb cookies, the no flour type, which is fine cause I don't have any flour, but I am outta eggs, can I use something in place of an egg? The cookie ingredients are 1 c. pb, 1 c. sugar, and 1 egg.

OK, I need 1/4c. of half and half, but I don't have any. So i am using a substitution of (3/4c.+ 2tbsps milk) + (2 1/2 teaspoons of butter) = 1 c. of half and half sub. But again, I only need a 1/4th of a cup of the substitution. It's math and fractions at that, lol, can someone help?!

Making peanut butter fudge and do no have any Chocolate bars/chips but do have refrigerator hot fudge will this work?

I am making peanutbutter fudge with Eagle condensed milk. With their recipe, they don't call for a double boiler. I am using jarred peanut butter (which is what the recipe calls for), should I use a double boiler anyway or only when actually melting chocolate/peanut butter chips?

I have bought my first whisk, lol, yeah I am excited! Anyway when done with it, I've just let it soak in water till I was dishes, don't let any batter or food harden to it, making it easier to clean. Is there any special way to clean one? Scrubbing every little wire works, I know that. What about stuff that has hardened on it? Oh, I don't have a dish washer.

I am making some pineapple frosting and the recipe I found calls for pudding. I added one box of instant vanilla pudding...I want to add a thin layer of just the base and then fold in cool whip for the frosting. I've been to the store twice today and really don't want to go back out again. I have a box of cook and serve pudding, can I add that to the mix to give me more? I poured the mix into a bowl added crushed pineapple and pineapple juice. It does have a slight vanilla taste and is pretty good, since I only used the powder of the instant would the same effect work with the cook and severe? I am not entirely sure I am explaining it right.

Hi, I am frosting a cake with pineapple frosting and wanted to know of any items that would pair well for it to stick on the sides. Like with white frosting I coated the sides of a 2 layered in rainbow sprinkles, I am looking for something like that, preferably not coconut, no on in my family really eats it. I was looking about and a few places suggested some types of herbs such as cilantro and or rosemary, with it being a cake I don't think it would taste, nor look to good to eat.

Ok my hubby and I are doing a married joint filing for our taxes. We are both students, he receives SSD, and has a federal tax lien against him. Since this is kinda complicated (at least to me) I'll probably end up having to pay someone to do them, but is there anything I can do on my own? I've heard that there is a strong possibility that the refund will be taken towards the lien, but have also heard about claiming him as a disabled person. I am just so confused...lol, this is our first year filing joint, so I am not sure......

Has anyone gotten their Kmart w2 for this year's taxes? I am signed up with w2express.com and do check it, but I was let go last year so I am not sure if I'll get it electronically (which is what I had signed up for) or in the mail.....
