I've recently acquired a Gateway P-6860FX from a friend who no longer needs it. I reset the BIOS and wiped the memory clean and installed Windows 7 on it. After a few reboots, it no longer recognizes the graphics card and has begun to use the on-board graphics instead. I attempted to run Guild Wars 2 and, upon going into the character creation screen the colors changed, became gritty, and the computer froze. A friend and I have done multiple clean wipes and reinstalls as well as searching for the correct drivers. The NVIDIA program will crash and we can no longer access it and the graphics card is not listed in the device manager.

The display has spots all over it as well as discolored blocks of green when we boot it up before the Windows logo appears. I really don't want to have to buy a new graphics card, but all signs point to it being bad. The computer isn't over heating and we no that the screen isn't the problem. Can any of you guys help? Thanks!

I'm a huge fan of Neon Genesis Evangelion and I keep drawing blanks for what I would seriously consider to be a tattoo on me. I understand that the tattoo would be personal to me, but I figure that a little brain stimulation from other fans might help get the juices flowing.

I've already ruled out using Lilith's mask(s) as well as Sachiel's mask(s). I'm leaning towards the scene in End of Evangelion when Shinji is inside the giant Rei and he's arguing with himself and a black screen with (Silence) in kanji comes up in response to "Is it okay for me to be here?" That or the lance of longinus.

Throw out ideas yes? This tattoo would probably be about...5-7 inches wide/tall max, so nothing too complicated please.

The film is rated X and therefore not released in the United States yet. It's a great movie, and made me realize the great talent behind Willem Dafoe.

I had been acquainted with the property for a little over a year. The people living there were pleasant, ordinary. Well, except for him. He walked into the kitchen in his plaid blue and green robe that I saw him in most of the time I came to see him. The belt was missing, like usual, he normally slept in his robes. He was wearing his black boxer-briefs as he walked in with a notebook under his arm. He had little modesty around me, but respected me enough not to walk around naked. His dark hair was still sticky with the gel he put in it yesterday, and his brown eyes weren't the normal shade of pink from being rubbed awake. He greeted me when he saw me sitting in a padded, rolling chair at the end of his kitchen table. I told him good afternoon as he handed me a bent, red, 70-page, spiral notebook.

I opened the notebook, greeted by his slanted, thin, and scrawled handwriting. The writer in me started to nag me when I noticed the grammar mistakes and slight misspellings. I flipped a few pages to a list:

Step 1: Research. Find an ample possibility, easy. Find out all you can about them.

Step 2: Get supplies. Anything that's small and nearly untraceable. Buy everything with cash. Stash it away, no one needs to know.

Step 3: Round up a small team. Anyone that can be fully trusted, not too intelligent. Lackeys, Space Monkeys. Easily disposable. Tell them as little as possible, only as much as they need to know.

I stopped reading the list and looked up at him, my blue eyes looking confused as my brows furrowed. “What is this?” I asked, my voice sounding a bit dead, harboring less emotion than I expected it to have. This list...I didn't like the way it sounded. “What is this for?”

He cracked his pearly smile, the one that made him look breath-taking but a bit threatening at the same time. Maybe only to me, though. I had a tendency to read more in what he did and said than what was actually there. A side-effect of love once lost I suppose.

“My plan for the future.”

I blinked, the gears beginning to turn in my head, searching 70 MPH through our most recent or memorable conversations. Our meetings, our arguments, our games, our teasing, our stresses...

“You mean your 'Get-Rich-Quick' scheme?” I asked.

“That's right.”

There is a still from a movie that I want to save as a picture. I'm playing the movie (Down in the Valley) through the newest version of Windows Media Player on my HP laptop. Whenever I use the Print Screen function and attempt to paste it in a document (first I tried Photoshop CS2 and then OpenOffice Writer), when I try to manipulate the size of the image, it acts like a hole looking through to my player. I cropped and saved the PS image and when I reopened it, it was simply a black rectangle.

How can I simply paste the image and make it act like an image? I want to use this still to draw a picture, so could someone help me please?

I just downloaded the free shareware program Screen Grab Pro and it did the same thing when I opened the image in Photoshop to edit it. Help!!

I was curious, after finally finding that beautiful song that's played near the end of The Painted Veil (2006) called "À la claire fontaine", "The Clear Fountain" is the translation I believe. I came to find that it is a French nursery rhyme, and that suddenly made me wonder...

What other movies have nursery rhymes used as background music, or perhaps used as a sort of theme? I would say horror movies excluded, because they're actually almost expected, but I say let's mention them too. It shows the cleverness of the producer and writer of the film.

I am a researching agnostic. If any of you are also, I want you to tell what religion(s) you are currently looking through and what religion(s) you have pushed to the side and why. I was initially a Baptist Christian, but found out that there were so many contradictions and incredibly insane historical facts about the religion that I couldn't believe in it anymore.

I researched Hinduism, but found that the ending story of Krishnu coming back to destroy evil was very close to that of Revelations, and that in itself led me to put it down for now.

Judaism, and Islam all deal with the same Judeo God, thus I can not believe in those religions either.

I am currently researching Wiccan and related Pagan ideas as well as LaVey and Theistic Satanism.

I know a very vague idea of Satanism.

Eventually I'll probably buy the Satanic Bible, considering I hear it's a pleasant and/or amusing read.

My question is: what is the idea behind Satanism? What are some of your practices and beliefs? I know (unlike most people) that you don't condone sacrificing of the traditional kind, but what else is there?

I'm simply a curious Agnostic.

For less than a month, I have had an irritating problem when I try to open any folders on my computer, even if they are within other folders. Every time I double left-click a folder, the Search Results window comes up instead of opening the folder to view my files. When I right-click the folder, Search is the first option above Open.

I have checked my Pointer settings, my Folder settings, and anything else on Control Panel that might have helped and I still haven't solved the problem.

This isn't a horrible issue but it's extremely irritating. Can someone help me?

I've been looking on the internet for the past 30 minutes to an hour for a certain music video that I watched a few times a while back on Vh1's "Jump Start" program in the mornings. It's only been a few months at best and I looked all over Youtube, a relative Google search, and Vh1's website.

I'm determined that it's a song from The Fray. I even looked on their OFFICIAL WEBSITE and didn't find it! They play in a small house for part of the video and it shows the lead singer walking around in a black jacket. In one scene he is standing over an open grave with an old man praying and proclaiming to God near him over the same grave. Also, at another scene, he is seen walking out of a restaurant and walks in front of a car that's being driven by himself with a woman in labor in the back seat.

Please, I really like this song and I can't remember any lyrics or the name of the song, but I know it's The Fray. Can anyone help me?

I actually heard it on the local weather channel in my city and tried to find it on Google to no such luck.

It's a male singer, reminding me a lot of Dean Martin's voice, but it's apparent by my search that he didn't make this song. The lyrics are something to the effect of, "And I went to the doctor and he said, "Son, you need to get some rest." Yes, it's a lot like falling in love." There a mention of being kicked in the chest before that line too.

If anyone knows this song, please tell me so I can get it!!

I found a book a few weeks ago while perusing a bookstore with one of my friends. It was a book of symbols; how religions and the world views specific animals, plants, etc.

While we were looking through the animals, we came across a page on Elephants. My friend pointed out a Hindu deity (whether a stem of a larger god or a single deity himself, I don't know) that was often described as a yellow elephant that, specifically, influenced inspiration in writing.

I believe I've found a small figurine of this deity that I'm interested in purchasing, but I'm not sure of the name of the deity or even if the statue is of the specific one that I'm looking for.

Can anyone identify the god that I've just described? I'd very much appreciate it.

I have had a necklace that I've wanted to put a protection charm on for months, but i'm not sure how i can go about doing it.

The amulet is called the "Soul Shield", thus i only find it proper that it live up to it's name.

I'm not sure if i need candles, stones, incense, or any of that though i want the charm to continue and not fade away.

Do I just need to write words? The last time i did a spell, i wasn't aware that it was forbidden and i want to do this right.

For the spell, I want whomever the wearer is to be protected when they put the necklace on, if it's me or not. Is this possible?

Okay, anyone who can work with advanced (to me) science and math should be able to help me. Say there's a planet about 1,600 kilometers in diameter (tiny, i know) and it has a uniform density of 5,200 k/m³. The moon orbiting this planet is geostationary, and the planet's sidereal orbit is exactly 24 hours. Given this, I need to figure out or at least know HOW to figure out how far out that geostationary orbit is the to the surface of the planet, a.k.a., how far away is the planet relative to the moon.

I'm having a hard time because uniform density is apparently hard to explain and figure out, going by the internet websites, and i never do well with theories. Can anyone help me out?
