This past summer, I had it all planned out. After high school, I would go to college to be a veterinary technician and afterwards get a job somewhere and wait for Mr. Right and then have a family. But God showed me that that isn't His plan for me. For one: I was never excited about my plans to be a vet tech. I just planned on it for certainty and the fact that it was a childhood dream of mine.

Two: God is laying it on my heart to go in an intirely different direction- writing. I used to write as a hobby but stopped because I saw no point in it. This was around the time I started the Veterinary Technician plans. God revealed something to me that showed me my life would be so much more than what I had planned. So I took action, believing in God's plan for me and at the semester I switched out of the classes I was taking for Veterinary Technician. What I love most is that before I had everything planned out but now I have no idea what will happen even for tomorrow. But I've never been happier. I know that God has plans for me- a chance to better the world. And while it make take a while for the dream to get going, I know that I'm only waiting because God is still preparing me before I take action.

I've been a Christian for my whole life and am still unable to speak in tongues. Does this mean I am not close enough to God, or are there Christians who can't speak in tongues and God is still pleased with them? I'm really confused. Please Help.
