I asked for their help & guidance 3-4 times during the last 2 months about 1 single problem: that after updating my IM 7 to Im 8, all my previous plug-ins had disappeared. Each time I clicked the plug-in green icon, a list of plug-ins came up but when I clicked "Try it now" another note popped up to say "Error occurred when trying to access plug-ins" . So I have no plug-ins at all. Yesterday they replied, after 2 months & several mail from me, saying I should delete all my plug-ins first then re-download them again, with steps of deleting & installing!!

Well I have told them I don't even one plug-in in "My plug-ins" what am I suppose to delete? And each time I tried to get some I got the same no-go message!

I only want the few basic ones which I had before like LaunchRadio, News, Answers, 360

I wish to find a couple of users who's questions & answers are always written in good English, sensible & helpful. I remember their nicknames but find it impossible to locate them so that I can enjoy their informative input.

I had noticed that Answers given show Chinese, Spanish & German, usually for translation. Just wonder whether you can post questions written entirely in Chinese or Spanish & received answers also in these languages.

Up to a couple of days ago, my profile showed I had 3 best answers awarded & shown as such. They are not there any more, showing a big 0. Who removed them & why?

How does one know whether one has indeed helped someone to solve a problem? For me it's only worthwhile for that reason alone.

I am rather new at this. I have no idea what are points for nor what getting to a certain level mean. Saw many clever people getting thousands & on high levels. What can one actually do with the rewards or status?

I got very good answer from Xavier, but I don't know how to say thanks to him directly, also to tell him that what he suggested I try was not possible, for instance, clicking "My plug-ins" does not show me anything; it's empty. I guess that's because I was never allowed to access any. Each time I tried, a note tells me An Error occurred while trying to access....

I was told to extend a deadline for answers by using the Action Bar. There none of the buttons seem to me to be used for such purpose. What is RSS anyway?

Each time I clicked on a plug-in, a note popped up" An error occurred while trying

to access Yahoo Plug-in" no button showing "Start". Also, at bottom of computer, the yahoo icon shows IM 7 while property show IM 8. What is cause? Could this be that my Plug-in list doesn't let me choose them? Or is it because I don't have Window XP but Me? If so, why then I was able to download IM 8?

Recently downloaded Yahoo IM 8, then suddenly all the plug-ins I had before ( News, Launchcast Music, Answers ) shown in the IM 7 window disappeared. Although the puled-out list shows the plug-ins, but only to explain their functions, not to be attached to the IM. Can any one tell me how to get them back?
