I've been with my boyfriend for over 3 years and we're both 24 years old. My boyfriend has treated with boundless kindness and respect since the first day we met and I feel absolutely horrible for what I am about to admit to you.

I see him as my closest friend, but I am no longer sexually drawn to him. We have little actually in common when it comes to our interests, but we still really enjoy each others company.

Now, I did the worst thing I could possibly have ever done to someone I love and respect...I cheated on him with a coworker on multiple occasions and developed feelings for this other guy.

I know it was wrong...but I did it anyway. The guilt is eating me alive and you have every right to call me a really sh*tty person.

I have a lease with my current boyfriend and it costs $1,500 to brake the lease. I don't have this money. I know if I confess to him what I did, he would never forgive me.

What should I do? Have you ever been in a similar situation?

I still love my boyfriend, but realistically I don't think we will be together forever. I don't want to start a relationship with this new guy because it feels like a bad idea to just jump into another relationship when I'm so emotionally vulnerable..I really really need someone's help

My fiancé recently got a new job and its his first day at work today. I want to make him something delicious for dinner because I'm so proud and happy for him.

Does anyone have any good ideas/recipes to share? What have you cooked for your husband/boyfriend that really made him happy?

I am a Junior in college right now. I have had the same roommate for the last three years and we're currently living together in an apartment by campus. It's hard to summarize our friendship to an audience of strangers. I guess I will start by saying that this girl is one of my my bests friend, and in some unintentional ways, my worst enemy. It's been a roller coaster. I have more fun with her than with anyone else I can think of. We connect really well, understand each other, have the same sense of humor, interests, and I view her almost like a sister. On the other hand, there are components to her personality that are somewhat dark by nature. She is extremely competitive, often really negative, judgemental and extremely dependent on me. It has gotten a lot better, but during our freshman year, I had to escort her everywhere because she was too afraid to sit alone in public. She was so obsessed with what people thought of her. Over the years, she has completely come out of her shell and talks to people more openly and doesn't obsess over what everyone is thinking. However, when it comes to meeting new people, she still depends on me completely. Last year people came up for a nickname for us that combined our names together because WE WERE ALWAYS TOGETHER. All our friends were the same, we always ate together, did everything together.

This is our junior year and I have made it my goal to meet as many people as possible, try new things, and to basically try to live my life to the fullest as possible. I have been going rock climbing, getting to know people, hanging out with friends, aerobics classes, going to parties and spontaneously trying as many new things as possible.

On the other hand, my roommate sits in our apartment all day. I feel so bad every time I come home.

My question is: I still want to be friends with her and we can still go out and hang out with people together. However, I really want to have my own life. I want to be a separate identity from her. I just feel like she has held me back in some ways. I feel absolutely terrible and I know it's wrong but I wish we could have our own friends. We can still have mutual friends and we can still hang out, but I want for both of us to evolve in different way.

What should I do? I don't want to slowly start ditching here more and more until she understand. Or is that the best solution? Help please

I feel soooo lazyyyyy

I am an employee at ihop and I'm scheduled to work today from 4-10 pm. I would never call out of work if I knew that they needed me, but during 4-10 pm the restaurant is completely empty. In addition, my manager has been completely over-scheduling servers, so there are about 7 to 8 people scheduled for tonight. With that many servers, you only make about 20-30 dollars the during whole six hours shift and you have to compete with other servers to get a table the entire whole. I just honestly feel like its pointless to go, I am really not needed. I have a million errands to run and I really don't feel like going in today.

What are good excuses to call out of work?
