There was this old cereal that my mom used to buy my brother's and me when we were younger. As I remember it came in a big blue squarish box, and inside was a bunch of little packets of different cereals and like, marshmallows and stuff. You could 'mix' your own cereal out of all these packets. It was a crafty little fun kids cereal thing, but I just can't remember the name of what it was! I think there was a fruity pebble type packet, and a marshmallow packet, and a couple other kinds to mix into your cereal. It wasn't really a bag of cereal so much as a bunch of little packets in the box to 'make' your own cereal. If this sounds vaguely familiar to anybody, any input would be welcome and appreciated!

My boyfriend are finally getting the large sized master bedroom we want in our new apartment. We want to make it look grown up, so I'm looking for any tips. Keep in mind that since we do live in an apartment we can't really paint, and since we're colleged aged we're on a budget. I'm just looking for tips on colors, drapes (if any), what kind of paintings, decor, anything like that. Also, stuff we should try and keep outta there. Thanks guys!

Sometimes me and a few girls will get together on a weeknight, or even just me and one of my close friends. What are some activities we can do besides just watch movies or sit around and chat? We don't want anything that'll affect our morning's either (those nights are reserved for the weekends! =] ) or stay up really late. We just want something that's fun to do, and it can also be outside of the house. Any fun ideas that we can do to help spend time together but not make it super boring would be awesome!!!

I recently starting taking Desogen (a form of birth control) to help regulate me and prevent ovarian cysts, which I used to get frequently and were very painful. I've been on it for about a week and a half, and I've just started experiencing some very painful cramps. They feel almost like menstrual cramps, but they are some of the worst I've ever had. Should I be concerned about this, or is it just a normal side effect of Desogen? Has anybody else had this problem, and what did you do about it? Should I contact my doctor or am I over reacting?

I'm having my sister and her bridesmaids over this weekend for some girl time, and since I'm the maid of honor it has to be at my place. We're just getting together to discuss flowers, cake, invitations, etc. I'm the youngest out of everybody (I'm the little sister of the bride) by about 3 years, and I'm a fresh college student. My boyfriend and I have a two bedroom apartment, but I want to make it look a little more elegant and high class so they don't think I'm some dirt poor careless college student. What is a good way to spruce up an apartment (besides cleaning it spotless which I already do everyday!) with keeping my budget low/next-to-nothing?

The girls are getting together this weekend, and since the cake is one of the things being discussed I wanted to see if I could get a cake sampler from a local bakery. Basically what I want is a sample of about a slice of each kind of cake (I could choose the ones we would want the most so it could be limited) to take home so the girls can try them and get their imput. I was going to give them a call tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone has ever ordered or asked about this. Also, how long in advance would you need to talk to the bakery about this, and how much do they usually cost?

I'm the maid of honor, and I need some help with trying to get everything organized for my older sister. The girl group (bridesmaids, me, and the bride) are meeting this weekend and going over things to decide on. Does anyone have a REALLY detailed list or know or any good websites that have wedding planner hints/lists/guidelines to help me think of everything that needs to be concerned? I don't want ANYTHING left out, so the longer the lists the better. Thanks!

My sister wanted to get all the bridesmaids together a couple of months before the wedding, and since I'm the maid of honor it's going to be at my place. This isn't a bachorlette party or anything, it's just a bunch of us meeting up to decide on certain things like the exact day, choosing flowers, colors, locations, etc. I know that the girls are going to get hungry (there's five including me) and I'm wondering what some simple yet elegant food items to serve would be? Any good punch recipes, appetizers, desserts, etc? Also, I'm wondering if bakeries do wedding cake sample platters to take home, and if so how much they usually run for. Any imput would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

My boyfriend likes to take me out for desert at night after we eat dinner. We can have a nice meal at home, and go out for desert so we can get the feeling of going out together and being treated for a bit, but not paying for the big expensive dinner too. He also works late, so by the time we get done with dinner it's after 11. Know of any good general places? Price really doesn't matter....

I was setting it up when he was at work, and he came home halfway through his shift for his hour long break, even though I made sure earlier that day he said he wasn't going to come home. He saw the table with candles and steaks sitting out with champagne and everything.
