Could someone please explain to me how NASCAR awards points? This has puzzled me for a long time now.

How long does it usually take to get the results of a DNA test?

Why would the mother have to get tested too? Does it just aid in determining the overall results or what?

Need any information anyone has on pregnant ferrets!!!!! The ferrets I have where given to me by some friends that could not keep them. They also received them from a friend. There is not a lot known about where these ferrets have come from so I really don't know if they were ever spayed/neutered. All I do know is that the female is getting fatter and fatter by the day on the recommended diet for ferrets. Planning a vet visit as soon as we find one that knows ferrets in the surrounding area but until them any information would be helpful! Especially on what the signs of pregnancy are in a ferret and anything we should do to ensure the health of the female and kits if any.

I am about to get 2 ferrets from my friends who can no longer care for theirs. My main worries are that I have a 2 year old Lab, a 2 year old guinea pig, 7 year old daughter and 4 year old and 8 month old son.

The ferrets will be kept in my room out of reach until the kids get a little older, so I don't see too many problems there. I am mainly worried about the dog who usually stays in my room when there is a lot of company.

Any personal experience with this would be appreciated greatly! Please if anyone has any good websites about Ferrets send them this way too!

I am wanting to file for divorce from my husband. We have been separated for 4 and a half years. We have 2 children. We are in total agreement when it comes to the terms of the divorce but neither of us can really afford to get a lawyer. Is there anywhere we can get all the paperwork we need for free and just pay the filing and court costs?

Does anyone know where to find the really cool ones for free? I have a few that I have gotten off friends who have gotten them out of chat rooms and stuff like that but I would like to get more.

The last few days my ex-husbands girlfriend has been sending me e-mails asking for why he and I split and telling me how he is acting with her now. I haven't told her but what she is describing is exactly the same crap he was pulling on me before we split. I don't want to get involved, but there is part of me that wants to warn her that he is most likely cheating on her and to run! I know if I do though it will cause a lot more problems between me and my ex if he ever found out that I warned her.

Just need some friendly non biased advise on this situation.

How do you help children understand the deployment?

My fiance was recently deployed to Iraq with his Reserve unit. We have 3 children(2 are mine but consider him their dad and one is ours.) The 6 month old I know will not remember this time nor understand at this point but the other 2 are 4 and 7 and having a tough time understanding it. All they see is that another Daddy is "gone".

We were given some books and a DVD during the pre-deployment events but they don't seem to be help.

Please help! I don't want my kids thinking they have been abandoned yet again!!!!!!

Can a ghost become attached to a person they are not connected to in life?

The last place I lived had a ghost of a little boy residing there. I recently moved. When I did I figured the activity would end but it didn't. This activity can not be explained by normal happenings, just like the activity in my old place.

I don't mind if he did follow us, I just want to know for sure.

A while back my daughter's( now former) doctor suggested starting her on growth hormones. She is 7, weighs 36lbs and is about the same heighth as her 4 year old brother(normal size for his age). She weighed 5lbs 2oz and was 18 inches at full term birth. She has grown at a constent rate, she is just small for her age. I totally flipped out on him for even suggesting it and refused to let him do it.

I was talking to a friend about it today and got to wondering how many parents would or wouldn't make the choice I did.

As a parent, what would you have done in that situation?

Need some suggestions on how to sooth the symptoms of pink eye while waiting to get into the doctor's office. Two of my three children woke up with symptoms this morning.

I have heard from friends that the 3rd pregnancy is the hardest. For me this has been very true. I truly feel like this one is trying to kill me. We have even nick named the baby "Stewie"(from Family Guy).

I am a stay at home mom. My oldest goes back to school soon and I have another baby on the way in Dec. My 2nd child is 3 and can be some what of a handful on his own. My husband suggested that we put him in Daycare a couple times a week to get him ready for preschool next year and to give me some what of a break during the rest of my pregnancy and after the baby is born. Then one of my friends told me that the preschool that my daughter went to has a program 3 days a week for 3 year olds too. There is only one problem with the preschool. My husband and I hate the teachers there. We constantly had problems with them while our daughter was there. The 3 year olds have a different set of teachers but we are unsure if we should give them another chance with our son.

Which would be better the preschool or a daycare?

Not how they were made, just how the baby gets from Mommy's belly to being born?

What herbs should a pregnant woman avoid or limit contact with? I am use herbs in many ways every week and am 5 1/2 months pregnant. I know a few of the ones that I should avoid all together at this time, like blue cohosh, but would like to make sure that I am handleing all of them safely when it comes to my pregnancy.

My 3 year old has come to the conclusion that there are monsters in his room and fights us to go to bed at night. What are some ways to help him overcome his fears, get rid of the "monsters" and make it fun at the same time?

The child I speak of is 15 years old and her grandfather(who has custody of her) is a Christian minister. I fully believe that this girl is wishing to become a Wiccan for the pure shock value and to rebel against her Grandparents and not from the heart at this time. Was it right of me to turn her away?
