Think about it. The computer I'm using right now was made in a factory for money. The clothes I'm wearing were made for money. My hair was cut for money. This really comes to mind during now, the holiday season. All the holidays are completely commercialized, so people can buy more. People may say that money can't buy a child's smile, but that child wouldn't have been delivered if there wasn't a doctor there for the paycheck. The food we eat is produced for money. The houses we live in are sold by realtors for the dough. Our pets were sold by shelters or breeders for money. With zero money, you cannot live in the modernized world. Can't be done. Everything is commercialized beyond belief. I don't have anything against money (a currency is necessary for a successful society), but there is way too much commercialism.

This leaves me with an overall average of 91%, or 2217 in SSAT terms.

Keep in mind this is the 8th grade SSAT, not the high school SAT.

I'm trying to get into Lawrenceville/Peddie. Do they look at each score, or the overall average?

Also, how much does the SSAT count in the bigger picture of getting in?

Today I was watching a movie and holding my 3-year-old Westie, and I found a red bald spot around his neck area. There was a brown tick, sucking away, in the center of the bald spot. After removing the tick, I'd still like to know how he got the bald spot from the bite.

I was just playing my Xbox a few hours ago. I tried to play today, but it wouldn't let me access. It asked for my Microsoft account and password. I entered the correct account and password I use on my computer, but apparently the Xbox didn't like it. I keep getting the error report 80154016. What is wrong and how do I fix it?

I've been great friends with him since second grade. For the sake of privacy, I'll call him Tim. Tim has been a really good and trustworthy friend until now. Starting a few months ago, he has been boasting about his guitar, his lying abilities, his stealing abilities, and everything else. I don't think lying and stealing are something you should be bragging about. He also brags about how many "girlfriends" he has. At one point he claimed he had six at once. He claims it was a joke now, but he still lied to me. He even says that dating at our age is stupid, but he still does it anyway! I once told him that it was impossible to date without a car. The next day he posted that exact phrase online and asked if he was the only one who felt that way. I was pretty mad, but I forgave him. At one point he had a 76 math average. That was in middle school in the low math class! Now he boasts about his 99 average in math. He has an easy teacher and he is once again in low math. I bust my *ss to get a 92 math average in the accelerated class with a higher curriculum, and he holds it against me. A few weeks ago he threw a fit and started destroying the server I made for my friends and me on Minecraft. That didn't really bother me since it was a computer game, but his comment after the incident did. I told him I thought better of him, and he told me I was wrong. The next day he sent me a huge Skype message saying how he was sorry and I was his best friend and he didn't know what he would do without me. I reluctantly gave him a second chance. Since then, he has had an obsession thinking he can rap fast. In reality, he isn't good. Everything else went okay up until last night. He, our friend Jeffrey, and I were in a Skype call. He lashed out at me, saying that I was a pussy and I ***** about things. Today in school he tried turning my friends against me. I beat him in arguments. He is lazy and thinks he is cool. He claims that his huge message was BS. I know he is lying. What do I do

I am thinking about purchasing a laptop. I want to be able to play many games on it like Skyrim, Fallout, Minecraft, and The Walking Dead, but I will be willing to sacrifice some games if the Mac ends up being better. I have experience with both operating systems, but I have slightly more experience with a Mac. I can pick up an operating system quickly, though. I want a fast laptop, but I am not a fan of the lack of depth on Mac. I will also be using the laptop I get for high school.

(This is similar to a question previously asked on this site) We are muscular like any other athlete. We have big shoulders, tree trunk-like legs, big chests, and thick arms. We are able to take a beating and get right back up. However, we also have big bellies and are not exactly skinny (if you know what I mean). We are good team players and always have each others' backs. Although we don't have the best bodies, what do you think?

I'm in middle school, and I like a girl who is new to the school this year. For the sake of privacy, we'll call her A. I've known her for about a month now, but as soon as I saw her I felt something. I am normally confident and I know what I'm doing when I talk to girls, but around her I have no idea how to act. The first time I tried to talk to her I did well, and we kept talking until the teacher came into the room. Since then, however, the situation has gone downhill. As I started liking her more, my tongue started getting tied into a tight knot. Around her, my confidence gets turned into arrogance, and I act really cocky. I'm always kicking myself after I'm around her. After school today, me and my best friend were walking down the hall together and she walked past. We both said hi, but she just ignored us and kept walking. I didn't think she heard us, but I was confused. I try to be a nice guy, but I can't get it together around A. Her presence crushes my confidence. How do I get to know her better and shoe her that I'm really not an arrogant douchenozzle? Help please

Hi. The other day I started up a new Minecraft server. I port forwarded, took down Firewall, changer the settings in server.properties, restarted the router. I tried all of this multiple times, but the server won't let me or my friends connect. I triple checked to make sure I used the right IP. Please help.

Today I was sitting with my dog - only on the patio, not even in the grass - and I noticed a little tiny tick on the pink part of his ear. I called him over. The tick had obviously just found him, since the small creature's abdomen wasn't bulging. My dog was too excited to see me to sit still. Eventually I got him to relax, but the tick was already attached. My dog started crying when I pulled at the blood sucker. I got the tick off eventually and killed it. However, my dog is very itchy and whiny. He is pawing at his face and scratching a lot. He is also crying. Could he have Lyme disease?

For my birthday I got two $50 gift cards. I thought is would be a lot of fun to go back and play Pokémon Red and buy a Gameboy Color. I bought the Gameboy off of Amazon from a guy in Ohio and Pokémon Red from somebody in Alabama. I live in New Jersey.

A few years back, my great grandma Helen died. She was very old. I was seven when she died. When I was eight or nine, I had a dream about seeing her on a chair similar to a throne in a huge room. The room was all white and some of my relatives were there with me. I ran up to her and hugged her and she hugged back. I woke up thinking that she had come to visit me. Do you think this is possible, and has anything of the sort ever happened to you?

An hour ago I signed up for Pottermore. I got the first two emails right away, but I'm not getting my final one to be able to explore the site. My friend, who signed up after me, got only one email and got in perfectly with only one email. What is going on?

A few years ago in Old Bridge, NJ I got stung by a freakish-looking wasp. It looked like a large red ant with black wings and a stinger. It was 2-4 inches long and the pain persisted for a while. It shot up my arm in the first half hour and I see this kind of wasp all the time in Old Bridge.

There's this girl in my town, we'll call her Kate. At Sunday school she, a bunch of other girls, and I were sitting in a large area with lots of chairs. All the girls were bunched close together and whispering. I sat farther away and waited for my friends to finish what they needed to do. Kate and her friends called me over. I sat nearer to them. Kate told me I was nice and smart. I was a little shocked, but I was nice about it and tried to compliment her. She said she liked my shirt. Just the other day I was derping around at my desk in the classroom and the was staring at me. I tried not to notice. I answered some questions. She was glancing away and then staring back repeatedly. Eventually I decided to laugh it off and kindly say "what?" with laughs in between. She started giggling. Wtf I think she likes me, but I don't really know her too well.

I've always had a fear of bee/wasp/hornet etc. stings and needles. When I normally see one in a picture it's fine, but in reality they scare me when I see a bee or have to get a vaccine. What is this phobia called? I don't have a fear of being punched, pushed, or any of those attacks.

Last year I was badly hurt because of a crush. I don't want it to happen again this year, and one is starting to develop. I'm trying so hard to stop it, but I can feel myself weakening slowly.
