I have been trying to print to my HP PSC 1315 via the USB port on my wireless connection (BT Home Hub 620)

. I have spent alot of time reading other web forums and i followed instructions of those who have been successfull in their similar/same connections......but so far iv had no joy myself

Has anyone on here set same up successfully? If so could you provide the steps you used please.....any info would be gratefully received.

Are we wise to go to Europe?

The European  Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.  

As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English."

In the first year,  "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil  servants jump with joy.

The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.

There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year  when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words  like fotograf 20% shorter.

In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of  the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated  changes are possible.

Governments will enkourage the removal of  double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.  

Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.

By the 4th yer people  wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w"with "v".

There was a documentary on british TV recently and its aim was to dis prove globle warming.

I did not actually watch it myself so i am wondering WHY? would Global Warming be a lie?.

My little boy cat who turned out to be really a girl cat and is now pregnant.

She is making me a nervous wreck and i am really losing sleep because she is so restless at night time. She has been prowling about at night looking for a nesting place. This has been the same for the past 4 nights now ( i have made some secure warm nesting places for her over the house but none are to her liking......or is she just not ready?

How long does this nesting search go on for please? I only noticed her belly growing for the past week. But the growth is rapid....she is really showing! Iv read some stuff saying that pregnancy could last approx 60 days but i dont have a clue when she fell.

Does this midnight searching for a nest last weeks ?....or does it mean she will give birth any night very soon?

Im knackered!! but reluctant to sleep in case she starts

What does "alone" mean to you?

Hi. I have brought a car which has a radio/cassette player and i would like a cd player. can i buy any cd player to fit?...iv looked on ebay and also listed are head units and cd changers..i think a cd changer is a unit that holds several cds to be played at choice.....but....what is a head unit? and if i wanted a cd changer do i need to buy a head unit as well?

Would really appreciate anyones time in explaining all this techno stuff...thank you

I have been using the internet for approx. 9 years now. When i look at how it was to how it is....its changed so much as in its all adverts now. Years ago you typed something in a search engine and got free information in return. Now all you get is adverts to spend. Chat rooms also have changed...use to be a friendly banter...now its...well...busy and not as polite to say the least!!

How long have u using the net and do you think it has changed much and in what way?

Hi. I have XP prof. installed and i want shot! I want to reinstall windows me but i dont have a start up disc for me and i dont have my XP disc.

XP allows me to start in mos dos but want allow me for FDISK or Format the 'C' drive.....

Any ideas of how to achieve the format in other ways please?

Am i right in the following please:-

Income tax is deducted and contributes towards maintaining bodies like the Police, NHS, Armed Forces and Social Security....etc

Council tax is paid and contributes towards Local Primary Care Trusts?...Local/Regional Police? and certain council services such as maintaining your local town...collecting refuse etc.

If i am right in the above.....how come we contribute to NHS and again to local primary care (arent they the same?) And the local Police and national police are they not the same.....

Please dont think for one moment i am moaning about these payments to these bodies...i am not. I am just trying to figure out the council tax charges

Also in addition.....UK is short of NHS dentists and alot of the public find it difficult to obtain one....but we pay for them....dont we?

Is this happening in your area to? My local police have been out in force along our roads 'spot checking' car drivers....I have seen so many cars being transported with big stickers on their windows stating..

Just out of curiosity...considering how many i am seeing means the mags court must be pretty booked up at the moment.....or do you think its an on the spot prosecution by the road and then the cars get scrapped/auctioned off without the courts involvment

I dont know about other UK schools but sports day may as well not exist anymore. No races or relays etc allowed because kids should not compete with one another!!!!....LIFE IS ABOUT COMPETING is it not???....Its learning to accept that there will always be someone better at something than you...and as equally there is someone who is not as good at something as you...Its about learning and respecting and accepting others....its about trying harder...or not trying at all if its not what you want....Am i just too harsh ???

Local authoritiy and my sons school have the descretion not to allow the use of cameras etc into Xmas plays/ sport days In fact, same goes for locals parks in my area. YET...we are the most CCTV spied on country in the world......I want kids to be protected, but i also would like to capture my childs school years.......I cant do this.... but when my son is down the park or out on the street etc CCTV strangers can!!! What are your views on this?.What is your local authorities stance on this?...does your school allow??

What is your view on this; The Houses of Parliament bar is duty free and MP's are allowed to smoke. Is it or is it not Illegal to smoke within the workplace anywhere in the UK as from 1st of July??...is this taking the p*** or what?? I am asking opinions of smokers and non-smokers - drinkers and tee totalers

Does your LA let you down?...do you feel like all they do is take money off you and waste it? Whats the homeless status of your community?...are houses being put up everywhere wheather you like it or not? Are housing and council tax benefits being processed in good time? Do you feel like they dont communicate at all with the public? Who is your local authority?

When we need or gain extra courage from drink etc we say its "Dutch Courage" anyone know why it links to the Dutch?
