I've been prescribed prednisone for eczema and alopecia but i'm really worried about the side effects, in particular the swelling of the face. How likely is it that i will get the typical steroid side effects on a 15 day course tapering from 20mg?

How many liters should it filter an hour?

I recently moved house and had to move the fish tank too, ever since i got my to my new house it paces the front of the tank. The tank is 21 liters and it also used to have another small goldfish for company but it died when it got injured in the filter...

Is my fish just lonely? doesn't like the newly set up tank? bored? or is this fairly normal behaviour?

It has plants to hid in/behind, a filter with the same filter material as the tank had before i moved house so should have the good bacteria, water treated for chlorine etc.

My housemate left the front door open/didn't close it properly and the cat got out. (Its an indoor cat because we live in the middle of the city on a busy road) My housemate says he won't tell his partner her cat is missing until she gets back from work late tonight, but if it were my cat i'd want to know if something happened to it whether i was busy at work or not. Should I tell her myself or should i just wait for her partner to tell her himself? Also the cat is unlikely to just find it's way home as its only about 4 months old and has only been on walks around the neighborhood a few times.

We were originally going out for about 5 months and then broke up because he said he didn't have time for a relationship as his job is too demanding and doesn't get enough time to himself as it is and just doesn't feel the need to be in a relationship the way i do. This was also his first relationship and he says he doesn't trust the emotion love and doesn't understand or get it that i love him, he thinks its purely a chemical reaction in the brain and my judgment of him is clouded by love and that it'll fade with time.

However we got back together 2 months after we broke up because he still really enjoys being around me, finds me very attractive, is happy when hes with me, likes the intimacy and affection etc. Then we broke up again after another 2 months for pretty much the same reasons as before even though we'd cut back the amount of time we saw each other to twice a week.

Now its been about 2 or 3 months since we broke up for the second time and we are still bestfriends and talk online or call each other every night and still hang out once sometimes twice or more a week. To everyone around us we're just friends but in private we seem to have a "freinds with benefits" thing going on.

Hes still says he wants me to find someone else who i can be with long term as he doesn't have the time for a relationship, doesn't think this will be changing in the "for seeable future" and doesn't want me to wait for him, but I still love him!

I just don't understand how he can continue the intimate and affectionate side of the relationship along with being best friends and still not feel anything for me emotionally or enough to want to be in a relationship!

I met this guy online a few weeks ago and we met up this week after emailing and texting for a few weeks. We met up on Tuesday and he said he'd like to see me again. Then on then on thursday night i txt him and ask what hes up to and he says hes having a drink with friends and what am i up to? I txt back and then ask does he think the bars and that will be open tomorrow night (easter friday public holiday)? I guess kinda implying does he wana meet up for a drink and he hasn't replied since and that was a day ago
