Maple Marry

The bars I was pierced with too tight. It's been 2 weeks, and I *think* the swelling is gone and they still feel tight. When would it be okay to switch them out for longer bars?

I just got a desktop running windows 8, and I have no idea what im doing as i've never used this os before. When i connect my netgear usb adapter, it shows up under devices and says "setup complete. Connect to internet." But when i go to network connections the only option i get is to connect via ethernet and no i dont have an ethernet cable plugged in. Help? P.s. im positive the adapter works.

One of my piggies passed yesterday, and I was wondering if my remaining piggie would be okay on his own? He's a little over 4 years old, and I just feel introducing at this age would be too difficult. His cage is set next to my desk, so i'm literally next to him all day. Thoughts?

I'm not a stranger to bad dreams, but there are some nights where they feel so real that they leave me feeling legitimately scared even after waking up. Last night was worse then my usual "bad" nights, because no matter how many times I woke up and went back to sleep, I kept having disturbing nightmares.

The one that sticks out to me may sound silly from someone else's point of view. Not going to explain everything, just what really freaked me out.

It was during the zombie apocalypse. I was with other survivors when they all of a sudden just started killing themselves. It was like a chain reaction. One person slit their wrist open and a disgusting amount of blood started pouring out from them. Then one after another, other's started committing suicide too. I try to leave with some boy (I don't remember his face at all) but I end up getting scratched by a zombie. The wound BURNED so bad, and the burning spread all the way up my arm. It was like my arm was on fire. At that point I decided to feed myself to a group of zombies to save the boy, I figured being scratched, I was done for anyways. The sensation of being eaten alive was the single most disturbing thing I've ever felt in a dream. The claustrophobic feeling of being knelt on, the pain of the biting and ripping, the sick feeling of my blood pouring. It was DISGUSTING.

I feel like I'm crazy pants or something. Could it be stress? The nightmares were relentless and they were all terrifying. I dunno. Thoughts?

I'm using the Polaroid PMID800 tablet, and I can't figure out how to delete the extra screens? I don't have a whole lot of stuff, so I only use one of the screens.

What can I safely line my piggies cage with? Other then fleece and carefresh bedding.

I know how to set TV shows to record on a primary tv (Like, currently everything is set to automatically record on TV2 unless conflicted) but is there any way to make it so it auto records on the tv it's set from? For example, if I set something to record from TV1, is there a way that it'll record there rather then TV2, and everything set to record from TV2 will do so there?

Uh, I hope that made sense, lol.

Anybody out there who is or was a vet assistant? I'm confused on how to get a vet assistant job.

How did you do it, and how should I go about it? What would make it easier? I'm determined to start somewhere meanwhile I start getting an education to become a vet tech.

I noticed a change in my dogs bark a couple of weeks ago. I was scared because I thought he might be sick, however he isn't acting any different. He's been eating and drinking water just fine. He runs around the yard and plays like normal, so should I still be worried?

I already checked the plug in on the windows player and the option to show songs playing on msn.

It only shows the first song I listen to, then it stops.

Any ideas?

The picture on my tv has a very obvious purple tone to it. No matter what I do to the color settings, it stays purple. My tv is a RCA F27676BC, any thoughts? I already tried unplugging it.

I was looking for a good magnetic pallet to put my eyeshadow pans in, but I can't find any without dividers and I can't tell which ones have removable dividers. If you guys could link me to some or let me know where I might find some, that would be great.

P.s. I need a medium sized one, the shadows are small.

I've had two dreams now, involving my best friend from middle school but I haven't seen or thought about her in years. I'm pretty sure it's not that I miss her, we didn't leave on good terms.

In the dream I can recall, I see us constantly almost crossing paths, but just almost. For example, running right past me to great a friend. When we finally do make some sort of contact, it was me over hearing her say a nasty comment about me, and then me rolling my eyes at her and walking away with my friends.

Anyways, I just don't understand why I would dream of someone who hasn't concerned me in years. And I can't seem to get the dream out of my head.

Yeah, pretty much self explanatory. I fired up my xbox, got the update automatically and okay'd it. Restarted the console, but I don't see any mule kicks? Do you need to have the other map packs or something?

I keep getting text messages from a number I don't know. I've explained to them 3 times I have no Idea who they are and that it's a wrong number but they wont stop. They've asked me for pot, cussed me out for telling them it was the wrong number, then threatened me by telling me they're part of the mexican cartel -_- Which I highly doubt.

Anyways, Apparently my service provider doesn't block numbers at all and the number is from a different state so I don't know if the police will care to do anything about it. Is there anything I can do to stop it?

My phone is a blackberry curve 8300 in case you know of an app to block texts. I have one called Mr.Number and it blocks calls but it wont block the texts even though it's supposed to.

My computer reads everything fine, USB's, cameras, and my ipod, but when I try to load micro sd cards it just wont work.

I tried two different micro sd's, one being brand new so it's not the card. I tried using two different adapters, that didn't work, doesn't matter where I put them in either, still wont work.

If I use one adapter, it wont show up at all unless I go to "devices and printers" first, then it shows up on "my computer" but when I try to open it, it tells me there's nothing in the drive. I can right click it, and I get options as though there's something in there as opposed to when there isn't but every time it just gives me the error saying there's nothing there

with the other adapter, it shows up without having to do anything else but it just does the same as the other one. keeps saying there's nothing there. and every time I just try to double click and open it the window freezes and I have to close it.

I'm clueless when it comes to computers, so I have no clue what's going on. And neither of the adapters are locked.

It's been a little over a month that my guinea pigs have had trouble breathing. They're both 1 year old males.

I've taken them to the vet 3 times at this point, and spent over $300 just for the vet to give me the same treatment. I was told that sometimes "it takes a little longer to work" but at this point I'm frustrated, and still have sick pigs.

The vet never specified what was exactly wrong with them. She said it could be pneumonia. One had fluid in his lungs and the other one caught it from him.

At this point, they're both eating and drinking normally. Their energy levels are moderate. Of course, they aren't as active as they normally would be but they're a lot more active then they were at first after getting sick. Their breathes are very hard and short though. Or sometimes their breathes aren't as hard, but still very short. I believed they have improved, even if it's just a little but I can't afford to take them back to the vet again.

Is their anything I could do to help them along without the meds? I'm terrified everyday of waking up to find one or both dead. They were being given Doxycyline, first the dosage was 1.5ml then was changed to .6ml so they haven't been getting much of it anymore anyways.

Note: Before you comment, please keep in mind that when I got my piggies I wasn't in a financial rut like I am now. Neither were the people around me. So please, don't tell me things like "if you really loved them you'd take them back" or "if you couldn't afford to keep them, why did you get them in the first place?" because it's not like that at all. I love my pets very much, and this is killing me.

Sorry this was long winded.

Every time I try to make a call, it connects but it doesn't ring. Every time I recieve a call, it goes straight to voice mail even if I pick it up. The other person told me it doesn't even ring on his end when he calls. I can receive texts but mine wont send out. Help? I already took out the battery twice.

I'm not too sure my guinea pigs are happy. I don't really hear them make much noise at all, and the only time my piggies popcorn is when I clean their cage (they don't like the poopy smell anymore then I do) but other then that.. they don't do much of anything.

I mean, signs of health are there. They groom themselves normally, they're fed food with vitamin C, timothy hay, and I give them regular servings of carrots and apples. They used to run around the cage with each other all the time but now they just sort of walk around and sleep. I've had them for about a year.

They also have a big cage and plenty of toys, chews, and a couple of spots to hide in.

So, should they be this chill? Or am I not doing something right?

Also, I know loud noises are supposed to stress guinea pigs out but sometimes when the tv all of a sudden gets loud from an annoying commercial or something, they don't even flinch. Is that normal?

One of them responds very quickly when I play guinea pig noises on my computer, but the other one doesn't care about that either.
