p.s. Looking for love often means either you're either: (a) seeking attention; (b) seeking gratification; or (c) seeking assurance − which corresponds to the above three.

I see U.S. president Obama's (I'm not American) decisions as overly cautious, possibly because he always planned for reelection and didn't want to be burned by possible negative consequences of rash decisions. What are the chances Obama will make bolder, riskier decisions on his 2nd term if he gets reelected? Is that good news or bad news?

How many Americans think that one candidate in the upcoming U.S. election is simply a "less evil" alternative to the other... and that both are essentially bad news for America's future? Who, then, are you voting against (assuming you're American)?

America suffered more from the recession than from 9/11 yet they blame religion for every evil. As they got rich from their books and famous for their theories, why didn't they observe and warn of the impending economic collapse? Or better yet, figure it out and solve it! Have they lost the source of their intellectual inspiration?

They came out of the woodwork after 9/11 receiving many adherents for their 'genius' (and getting rich in the process). I wonder, could the wise guy who inspired them with the notion that 'Christianity is all evil' be the same wise guy who inspired the jihadists armed with the boxcutters. This 'wise guy' certainly dumbed them down while the jihadists trained and made plans for many years.

When men blaspheme God and when they reject God (and who would dare to say that this is not the case in America), then God must show His power. He cannot be silent in the face of this rejection. He cannot continue to act as if no rejection is taking place. What do you do when you are rejected? You withdraw. You leave the place. You shake the dust from your feet. This happened at Nazareth and my Son withdrew. This happened to the apostles in some villages, and they withdrew.

Now, all is clear. What is happening in the world? The world rejects God and He withdraws. When He withdraws, there is no force/power present to restrain the destructive forces that men carry in their own hearts. There are destructive forces everywhere and the divine presence has withdrawn.

What are you to do? Invite God back. Ask Him to return. He will come. He listens to His children. Invite Him into every part of your lives, your homes and your communities. Restore the statues that remind people of God. Let hearts join in public prayer. Especially, invite Him into your own heart. You will see the forces of evil withdraw, because a greater power confronts them.

When these destructive forces break out, make the right conclusion. Do not ask “Why did God allow this?” Say rather, “This happened because we have rejected God’s presence and protection”.»

[ The Secular Man ]

These themes I repeat often but they must be learned well. There are unimaginable problems ahead. The world has seen only a few, the previews of what is to come. There will be a great shift of power away from those nations that used to call upon me. Yes, I must say it, “that used to call upon me”. Long ago, they left the Church. They left the side of my Son. They adopted different values and put on a different garment. Now, they are Christian in name only. Their building still stands but they have no foundation. Their people are not united in faith. They have nothing holding them together. The secular spirit only responds in prosperity and abundance. It dissolves when faced with catastrophe. “Every man for himself”. This is the cry of the secular man. “How can I preserve what is mine?” are the thoughts of his heart. Where does that leave a nation in the time of crisis? To whom can they turn, when all are seeking their own interests?

America still breathes. It still has life. It still remains my hope. If only I can cure it of its sickness, it will regain its strength. Even more, it will regain its purpose, the noble purpose for which I brought it forth. Let me define the purpose of America.

They get so up in arms about pointless personal freedoms but don't give a darnn about the sufferings and death of people unimportant to them. Don't you think such extreme selfishness will spell the doom of your society. Selfishness is like cancer − it will eventually kill the organism the selfish cells are part of.
