Is it possible to get busy friends to take time to talk to you?
I have some friends that are playing the same online game I play. They are good friends. However, it seems like they are always too busy to talk to me and prefer to talk to others in the game. I am wondering what it is about me that makes them ignore me.
For a while I was insisting that they acknowledge me, but that definitely backfired. Now I have backed off and am trying not to be obnoxious or even ask for a bit of attention.
It makes me feel as if I am not worth their time.
I realize it is my problem. I understand that I have no real claim on them or their time. But I make time for them. Why won't they give me a bit of their time?
