I had to give my dog away to some random person from my dads work. He is a poodle and he is very sweet but my mom could not take him anymore so she gave him to a random person that I did not even meet before. But anyway she gave him away. I really loved him and cared for him and I was wondering if anybody had any idea how I could convince my mom to get him back. Im 11 and love dogs. So any answers will be accepted! And I did not even get to say good bye to my own dog and i cried all day....

Ok, so I have a 38 gallon fish tank with a heater, filter, and everything I need. I was wondering if this stock would work:

2 Figure Eight Puffers

12 Neon Tetras

4 Albino Cory Catfish

1 Snail

OR

2 Figure Eight Puffers

10 Neon Tetras

2 Albino Cory Catfish

1 Snail

6 GloFish

I personally like the 1st one better, but would they work out good? I will have many decorations for the fish to hide. I went to my LFS and they had Figure Eight Puffers in a freshwater tank, they seemed VERY happy, they even followed my finger when I was pointing at them :). I LOVE puffers, I looked online and it said puffers should be fine with tetras. I don't know if this is true... But I hope so.

I have been having trouble sleeping... I have a very cozy bed and house but I just cant seem to fall asleep...

P.S. Im 11 and I have lived in the same house for 9 years

I am buying decorations, fake plants (I know real plants are recommended, but my dad said not to mess with them, so please nothing about real plants), gravel, and filter the water for as long as possible (I know what all to do for this). The only thing I do not know what to put is what fish. I like neon tetras and all tetras, and the figure eight puffer a lot, but could some one put some lists of stocks of fish I could put in this nice tank? I like colorful fish :).

Here is where you put funny/embarrassing things that happened to you. Mine was when I had my phone in my sweatshirt and went to the bathroom and flushed and my phone fell into the toilet.

I am getting a 38 gallon fish tank this weekend. I know everything about the filter running for 3 days and not to listen to the 1 inch per gallon thing. I just don't know about the fish... Would these fish go well with a fresh water, 38gal fish tank?

Am I overstocked? Understocked?

Also, I will be putting a filter, heater, bunch of decorations (fake plants included, I don't want real, although real plants are helpful), and gravel (of course). Also, can you tell me how often I need to clean the tank?

The PetSmart I go to has a wonderful selection of fish! None of them are dead and the people there know what they are talking about! I looked for Ich and Fungus diseases, and there was NO fish with them. So please stop judging them because not all PetSmarts are a bad place to buy fish from!

How about this plan for a freshwater 38 gallon tank:

8 Jumbo Neon Tetras (Grow up to 2")

5 Bloodfin Tetras (Grow up to 2")

1 Snail (Grows up to 2")

What else should I add? I know I am way under stocked.

Also, I know not to go with the 1 inch for 1 gallon rule.

I understand that Tetras are schooling fish and are required for 5+, but I don't know if 3 would work...

My dad said tropical fish are saltwater and colwater fish are freshwater, but I disagree, I say tropical fish are fish that like plants and coldwater fish are fish that like clear spaces to swim....?

I have tried everything from the pads to hitting him lightly on the head say NO BAD BOY any help?

(He is a poodle about 5 months old)
