So there's two sides, I recently graduated with a 4.0 from high school, started at reputable university as a sophomore due to my dual enrollment in high school, I'm PLS/Law major, I have an internship lined up with my congressman in DC this summer. But then there's this complete other side, lingering in the back of my mind "join the military", specifically a special forces (which branch I'm still unsure of). My interest in the military, mainly the Navy Seals, came about when I remember my father mentioning how as young wrestler fresh into the navy he breezed through and was invited to become a SEAL but ultimately due to his involvement in another program he was unable to do so. I've wrestled for the last few years of my life and its absolutely put me into great shape, and mind set. Multiple times a week I go on 8-10 miles runs for the fun of it, I love pushing my body to its limits. There is just something so alluring about the mental and physical discipline that can be obtained being able to survive special forces training, the sort of discipline of that Buddha learned by supressing his appetite as he sat under the Bodhi Tree. So here's the actual question, What should I do here?
