3 AntwortenGovernmentvor 1 JahrzehntWhat is wrong with my hypothesis...please tell me!!!!!!!!!?
Question
Can you change the rate of a chemical reaction by changing the size of the particle?
Hypothesis
If I Alka-Seltzer, a tablet, that when comes in contact with water, releases carbon dioxide gas, then I can use different masses of Alka-Seltzer and the carbon dioxide gas released from the different masses of Alka-Seltzer to tell whether the particle size affects the rate of a reaction. Because the main ingredients in Alka-Seltzer are Aspirin, citric acid, and sodium bicarbonate. When Sodium Bicarbonate
dissolves in water, it dissociates into sodium and bicarbonate ions. The Bicarbonate reacts with hydrogen ions form the critic acid to from carbon dioxide and water. The carbon dioxide released from the different masses will allow me to tell the rate of reaction.
Thanks this if for a science project......tell me whats wrong please...
thanks

Using any materials you have at your disposal, create a 3D Cell Membrane model illustrating one of the 6 types of cellular transport: Diffusion, Facilitated Diffusion. Osmosis, endocytosis, exocytosis, sodium/potassium pump. This 3D illustration should actually display cellualr transport. You must use your imagination and creativity to ensure success with this activity.
This is what my teacher give to me.. Please help me come up with some ideas...............
i emailed her some ideas but she turned them down.
