I'm about to turn 23. I would like to have about a group of 6 people with me and celebrate it at a lounge/dance club. Any recommendations would be great. I know bottle service/VIP is a bit pricey, so I'm looking for a place that is affordable and can have fun. I think my limit would be $500.

So far, I've been recommended to Sutra Lounge in Costa Mesa....

I was on the depo shot ONCE for 3 months starting beginning of march and it expired at the beginning of june. Throughout that time, i bled a little each day. When the shot expired, i spotted for a few more days. It is mid-july and for about a week and a half, i have been experiencing nausea/enlarged breasts/hot flashes/ tremendous mood swings and have not seen any blood since the spotting, are these the normal side effects of coming off of the shot or am i possibly pregnant?

I took a home pregnancy test a few days ago but it came out negative. I hear that the progesterone from the shot may affect results to be negative. At the same time, I hear stories of people not getting their period for awhile.

The other day, I received some bad news. My boyfriend asked if there was anything he could do to make me feel better, and I said no. He already had plans to go to the beach with his friends. While talking on the phone, I told him that I changed my mind and I would like him to come over to comfort me and skip out on the beach. He told his friends that they needed to turn around and go back to my house, so he can straighten things out with me. He ended up staying at my house, and his friends didn't end up going to the beach.

They are pissed off at him and even more at me. In consequence, my boyfriend got mad at me the following day, claiming I disrespected him and his friends.

I know I was inconsiderate during the time, how could I make things better?

Suppose the one you loved left you, would you wait for him/her to come back to you? If so, then for how long?

When I go out on dates, sometimes the guy and I would look through boutiques/stores/shops while walking to pass time. Once I show interest in a certain shop, most of the time the guy would say, "What do you want here? I'll get it for you."

I've been brought up in a single-mom household and have been taught to be an "independent woman." Every time the aforementioned scenario has been played, I would answer "no" for 2 reasons. One, I want to show him I don't need his money to get what I want. Two, I feel like if I accepted the offer, he would expect something back.

My question is...would you accept purchases from a guy you are only "dating?" Or would you have done what I did?

I am a very social person and have many friends. People bring out different personalities of me. With my friends, I am loud, funny, and obnoxious. With my boyfriend, I am sensitive and more reserved because he has some antisocial characteristics.

My dilemma is: I don't know what to do when I put my boyfriend and my friends together in a mix. Should I be the way I am with my friends or should I be the way I am with my boyfriend? Due to previous experiences, my friends claimed I was no longer "fun" at one point and, at another, my boyfriend claimed I left him in the corner while I was busy being the "center of attention."

I don't know what to do or how to act.

My boyfriend and I had a huge argument. It started because I told him that I felt he wasn't willing to do the same sacrifices that I would do for him. For example, one college is offering me a full athletic scholarship but is hundreds of miles away. The other college is offering a partial scholarship and will be the school he is attending. I told him I would be more than willing to choose the latter, if I felt he would do the same in my position.

Then I went on in telling him that I believe that his sisters and him were brought up in a prestige environment, where they would pick their partners to "nurture" them due to their upbringing rather than be the "nurturers" in their relationships.

Here are my points:

1. His oldest sister has gotten her boyfriend to give up a high-paying job for a mediocre one, so he can live with her...as well as buying the house they live in. And she has never given him anything more than a kiss...she won't allow him to sleep in the same room as her.

2. His second sister has gotten her boyfriend to abandon his family and move out-of-state with her, as well as pay for the rent for where they live.

3. His youngest sister is currently dating a guy she is not interested in but leads him on, because she knows he can take care of her the way her older sisters are being taken care of.

After I made my points, my boyfriend got offended and said I insulted his family. Was I out of line? Or is it ok to speak my mind?

After this year, Rajon Rondo is a free agent.

Most likely, the Celtics wouldn't be able to afford keeping him because of the BIG 3.

Lakers are planning on dropping Odom and Derek Fisher is retiring, in addition to the fact that Ariza is asking for more money.

There are points why people will say "no."

1. It took 7 games for the Celtics to beat the bulls.

2. The team isn't the same without KG and Powe.

Here are my counterarguments.

1. Last year, it took the Celtics 7 games to beat the Hawks, AND they had a healthy KG on their team. They WON the championship, despite their rocky start. This year.... The Bulls is not a bad team, they have a lot of heart and hustle, but the BETTER team always comes out on top. That is why the Celtics won tonight.

2. One thing about the Celtics is their undeniable team chemistry. They still had their record of 18-7 during the season without Garnett. Imagine if the Lakers lost Gasol, I'm sure they wouldn't have been able to stick it out through 7 games, with 7 overtimes. The Celtics isn't a mediocre team because, even without the "heart" of their team, they're still able to command and conquer. You can't say that for a lot of the teams out there...

My vote: YES, after they beat the Magic in 7.

In my opinion, I'm stuck between Jason Richardson and Baron Davis.

I'm not trying to be conceited but, in my relationship, I am the fairer one of the two and always have been. Hands down. I don't crave for male attention but, at the same time, i don't mind it. Now, the person with whom I'm in a relationship with is slightly overweight, has acne scars, etc...not exactly the cutest guy on the block and he always becomes surprised when a female compliments him.

Recently, he has put himself through a strict workout schedule, so that he can lose weight. He claims that he feels "insignificant" to me and wants to come up to par. I applaud his efforts but, I can't help but feel threatened when he starts receiving more attention...

Am i suffering from an inferiority complex or is this normal?

Recently, my boyfriend and I had a huge fight, and it was just the final straw for me.

So, at the end of the day, I told him that I believed that I deserved better and I thought it was best if we were "just friends". That, in the least, we should go on a "break." I haven't formally broken up with him yet but I gave him clues that it is inevitable.

His response: "I closed my eyes only for a moment and now the moment's gone."

I'm confused. What exactly did he mean by that?

People usually say that they do not have any regrets during their lifetime, because the experience of their decisions has made them the person that they are now- wiser, stronger, smarter.

Personally, I do not regret any of my life experiences but, I was wondering, is there an experience that wasn't a teacher about life and has made your life worse?

I'm in a public league. The trade was "accepted" that I would be trading Lebron for Bosh and Jamison (note: I needed rebounds badly).

If the trade was accepted from both parties, then why would it be vetoed? It seemed pretty fair to me.

Would you rather date a girl who had a thing for black guys or a girl who had a thing for white guys?

And tell me the reasons for that preference.

I've asked this question around a group of male friends, "would you go out with a girl that had a thing for black guys?" Each of them said "no", without explaining why. Personally, I think that just because it is a preference, it doesn't limit her to every other race out there.

Do guys have some kind of inferiority complex to black men?

Is it the whole "girls like bad boys" concept that they dislike?

Do people ask questions on Yahoo! Answers to actually seek advice or are they trying to look for people to reaffirm what they were thinking in the first place?

In my personal experience on Y!A, I've seen quite a number of people that get offended when I tell them the "honest" truth. So, stating the question again, do people select answers that they want to hear or answers that are genuinely helpful?
