So I grew up knowing that my oldest brother was my half brother, and I never let that bother me because no matter what he was always going to be my brother. He was always there for me but as he got older he became more and more of a jerk. He favors my other brother more and basically kicks me to the curb. He says that I'm the spoiled child because I go to a private school when he decided on a Junior college. To me a school is a school and I just chose a private school because I was guaranteed classes. When I had braces he punched me in the mouth and when I told my mom he lied and said that I ran in the door when he was in the bath room and that I just needed someone to blame. He also started changing when he met his fiancé. He would always tell her how bad of a person I am and it kind of makes me not want to come home from school, because it's almost 3 hours away and I live on campus, it makes me just want to stay there where there really isn't anything to do because it's in a remote area. Recently I went to the movies and I had badly twisted my ankle and the doctor thinks I need to have surgery because I might have torn something that needs to be fixed, it had been in a lot of pain for almost 4 weeks now, and he told me to quit being the big baby and suck it up, he used a series of profanities but I'm not going to repeat them. I just don't know what I did wrong. What should I do?

So I've graduated with honors from both middle school and high school and it's really important to me if I graduate from college with honors. I was wondering if anyone knew what the requirements are to graduate with honors from a private, catholic college. My mom tells me not to worry about it because it's the fact that I'm going to college that counts. But, like I've said it's been a goal for me to graduate with honors from college. If it helps I go to Saint Mary's College of California.

Ok, so about 3 days ago I was at work. I'm not going to name the company because I don't want people to think it's a bad company. But I had to stock the coolers full of soda as part of that days "To Do List". And as I was pulling a crate of sodas off the trolly one fell on my foot, in the big toe area. I told my boss and he told me to walk it off and that it was ok. But standing on it all day and then having to walk/ride my bike home made it hurt even more. It was ok for a couple of days then it started to hurt again. Do I have to file a report through my work or is there nothing I can do?

Ok so this is what happened... I am going to college and I have 2 roommates. When we first met we felt like sisters already everything was great. Until one of them got a boyfriend. Lets call my roommates A and B. Roommate A already had a boyfriend when she moved in and he goes to the school with us and he's really nice. Roommate B got a boyfriend 2 months after we moved in. Her boyfriend is nice but is really cocky and doesn't think he'll get in trouble for anything. Recently roommate B has taken it upon herself to make decisions for our room. First it was throwing away our trash can that came with the room and since we marked it on our rooming check list we have to each pay a $25 dollar fee. I told her that if she didn't want to clean it because it was dirty then I would have cleaned it. It wasn't a big deal. Then a few days later I got a job interview about 2 miles away from my school. The job interview was going to go through our gift exchange for our hall and I didn't want to miss out so I asked roommate B to take it and just drop it off for me because I made arrangements with the RA (Resident Advisor). And roommate B said Sure that she would do it. And since I'm new around I get the bus schedules mixed up and missed the last bus. I called everyone I knew and then I got a text from roommate B telling me not to go up to the room that she needed alone time with her boyfriend. So I said whatever. I found a ride back to the school I waited 20 minutes before I asked her again if I could go into the room I didn't get a reply and so I took that as a No. So I go up to our floor and look for someone to talk to and found our RA. I asked her how the gift exchange went and she told me it went well and I asked her if my roommate dropped of my gift and she said that my roommate never showed up. That also made me mad. Then my RA asked me why I wasn't in my room sleeping because I looked tired and I said my roommate and her boyfriend need a few minutes so I'm giving them their space. And she kept trying to say they were having sex( not against the school's rules in some it's a strict rule) But I kept telling her no. The RA told me that they still couldn't keep me out of the room and I said it was no big deal because I just got there and I just wanted to sit. So I leave and after I leave she goes and talks to my roommate telling her what we talked about only that I supposedly said that she and her boyfriend were having sex and that I had the text messages to prove it. So my roommate comes in the room and starts yelling at me asking me what my problem is and why I can't tell her things to my face. First off she's never there and is always at her boyfriends and she never answers her phone. Then she's saying that roommate A and I are plotting against her by texting each other behind her back. And she goes on yelling and screaming at me and I'm just sitting there. And she told me if I tell anyone anything that she's coming back and she'll be worse.

I know this is a long story but I need your guy's help. I really don't know what I'm going to do. My mom told me to be a ***** to her but when I am I act before i think and someone usually gets hurt. And I don't want to hurt her. What should I do? How should I handle it. I tried talking to her and she gets all pissy about it so it just leaves me at a loss :/

I'm almost done with my first semester in college and my 2 year old computer is giving me problems. I got a large sum of money back from my college for over paying my tuition and my mom told me that she would get me a new computer after she payed off her credit cards from paying for my books. She offered me a chance to get a new laptop or an IPad. Which one should I use? I'm majoring in Physics/Astronomy with a Minor in Music. My Physics teacher uses an ipad to record problems being done so that we can see them online. I would use an Ipad but I don't know if I can use my USB on it because I have to print a lot of papers and I don't have a wireless printer so I have to either hook it up to the printer in my room or save my papers on my USB and print them at the Library. I also take my computer to class for homework and to watch videos that will help me understand my class work. I carry binders, note books and books and I need something that is light, efficient, and good quality for school that will at least last me the next few years.

Okay so im running for ASB (associated student body) president, and usually no 2 people run for it at the same time...well im going for it against this girl who's kinda popular and has a lot of friends. But when it comes down to who's more involved in the community and school im more involved than she is. I do loads of community service and i do a lot of things around the school. But the kids at school don't really care about that its mainly a popularity contest to them. i know that i know a bunch of people at school just like she does but i know people are most likely to vote for her. What can i do to win this election at school? Because i really want to win this, I've been wanting to do this for 2 years already. Can someone help please?

OK so i know a lot of people don't like the fact of gay marriage because either" God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve" or "the Holy Bible says its wrong" or "its just not natural" or whatever the reason. OK. i get that part but please don't attack me when i ask, don't gays have a constitutional right to marry whom ever they want? Because i don't ever remember reading anywhere in the constitution saying that it was illegal. But its my own opinion when i say that i think gays should be allowed a partnership that similar to a marriage, everyone's entitled to their own opinion in things and i fully understand why you guys do or don't think they should be allowed to.

ok well we do a lot of projects in our english class and our history class and i have 2 friends that are very lazy.

well first off we had to type a 1000 word essay on something in the mid 1900's and we had a week and a half to do it, and one of my friends thought that since she was absent in the middle of the project that she could turn it in later ( it was right before winter break) and she said she was going to turn it in after break. after break she went up to our teacher and told him that she wants to turn the paper in that friday and he told her no that it was too late and she came back to her seat (she sits behind me) and starts going off on a tantrum saying how stupid the teacher is and how mean he is. how do i tell her that she needs to get her act together and take responsibility of her work? i mean she basically failing all of her classes including P.E. she doesn't try and last year she was telling me that she wanted to do better and she's not even making the effort. she has a 46% in our english Class...

second same class different friend.. behind my other friend sits my best friend micheal. he's really nice but when it comes to group projects or semester projects he doesn't do the work. for example we had to do a worksheet in our english class and it was 4 people per group and we were all working on the worksheet together except for michael. and that 1000 word english project thing we had to do. he had his girlfriend do it for him. even his history project was done by his girlfriend.and now i have to do another english project with him and he's not even helping me im doing it all by myself and when i ask for his input he say i don't know do what ever you want. and that leaves me speechless because i need the A in this class. how do i tell them to get off there butts and do their work and do their fair share in a nice way? because im not a mean person at all. and i don't want to make them upset or mad...
