First of all, Lance Armstrong is a good man. There’s nothing that I can learn about him short of murder that would alter my opinion on that. Second, I don’t know if he’s telling the truth when he insists he didn’t use performance-enhancing drugs in the Tour de France — never have known. I do know that he beat cancer fair and square, that he’s not the mastermind criminal the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency makes him out to be, and that the process of stripping him of his titles reeks.

A federal judge wrote last week, “USADA’s conduct raises serious questions about whether its real interest in charging Armstrong is to combat doping, or if it is acting according to less noble motives.”

In March of 1857, the United States Supreme Court, led by Chief Justice Roger B. Taney, declared that all blacks -- slaves as well as free -- were not and could never become citizens of the United States. The court also declared the 1820 Missouri Compromise unconstitutional, thus permitting slavery in all of the country's territories.

Roberts ruled that people who live, have children, feel hunger and pain, get sick and die are no more 'human' than Corporations that do none of these things.

American Conservatism today is an alarming extension of the values and attitudes of the Southern Plantation owners. Examples of this can be seen in:

The lack of regard for people of color; the belief that they are not 'true' citizens (or even a person);

The distrust for the US government to the point of subversion, refusing to support it because it is somehow 'foreign';

Fooling poor and uneducated White men into fighting and dying in wars that only serve the land owners and arms dealers;

Selling 'Patriotism' as a special club for themselves as whites and the rich;

The using the term 'elite' which ORIGINALLY referred to wealthy slave owners;

Refusing to support universal education, racial and gender equality;

Unabashedly and arrogantly expressing a exaggerated sense of their own importance;

Thinking that 'their' way is so superior that they the 'God Given Right' to be as slanderous and dishonest as they want;

Seeing taxes, not as a patriotic duty, but a gross imposition on their person freedom;

The sense of entitlement, disdain for others, and lack of belief in their own government has descended into the heart of American politics DIRECTLY from the Southern Plantation Land Owners. It was an EVIL then that nearly destroyed our country, and it is EVIL now that is trying to do exactly the same thing.
