My 2 year old Saluki is otherwise healthy, and has always had the occational random soft lump appear on her face, and then go within a day or so. At the moment she has more than usual, and I noticed lastnight that hear ears have thickened. They are not sore to the touch or hot, just thicker than usual. I will obviously take her to a vet but I'm curious as to whether anyone else has noticed this problem?

I've tried to play it by ear and just can't do it :( and I've searched for it everywhere and can't find it

I've just bought the car and it only has one fob with it. I can get a second-hand fob from e-bay, but I would like to program it into the car myself. I've seen a few instructions but they seem to be for newer models.

Can anyone recommend a company or a technique? I am shortsighted and have worn contact lenses for about 20 years, I'm now 36. I also have astigmatism.

I've been told the 2's started at 2003 but they still made the 1 at the same time. I've also been advised not to touch a 1.

So how can I tell the difference between the two??

Every now and again I have an irregular heartbeat, which is quite uncomfortable but not painful. It makes me feel a little light-headed and I can feel my pulse strongly in my throat, but apart from that I'm ok.

It's very difficult to explain because it changes all the time - it will do a few repetitions of one rhythm and then change to another, or just one strange beat and then change. It carries on like that for hours sometimes.

At the moment it's doing a handful of beats where you get a normal bum-bum followed by a shallow, faster bum-bum, every beat, then change. The other rhythm is where my heart will miss a beat, and then do a hard beat, this can be just one or carry on for ages.

I've told my doctor about this (well, sort of mentioned it) and without even enquiring about what the symptoms are she just told me it was normal. I'm quite aware that if there was anything seriously wrong then I would probably be very ill, but does anyone else recognise these symptoms? Can anyone reassure me please?

I had my lip pierced 2 weeks ago and it's not quite healed, but I have had to change it a few times due to discomfort and this hasn't been a problem. I've read somewhere that Bioplast stems can aid healing - does this go for Bioflex and Acrylic aswell? Thanks for any info!

Our noisy, destructive, demanding and adorable umbrella cockatoo needs a new home, as my husband has developed an allergy to his dust. He actually belongs to my 14 year old daughter, who is naturally very upset, but we agree that he has to go to someone who knows alot about these birds in particular, has kept them before or still keeps them. We are in West Wales but would be prepared to travel to check out the best home for him.

I'm due to have an operation soon and I'm terrified. Had a similar one a year ago and it was terrible, I was in a lot of pain and anything they gave me seemed to make me throw-up. The closer it gets the more scared I get.

Is there such a thing as someone who can counsel you through this? Talk through post-op meds, ways of dealing with the nightmares, all that sort of thing? Draw up some sort of plan with you to help you get through it?

Is this what a Pain Management Team do?

I had a scan in November that showed a small ovarian cyst, and one a week ago that showed a 13cm accross mass of goodness knows what. Do cysts grow that quickly? Will they just whip me in and remove it all? I have an appointment with the consultant tomorrow. Let's just not say the 'C' word shall we? ;)

I have a prolapsed disc 2nd from bottom. I've had an MRI which shows a 'slight' bulge, slightly compressing the spinal chord causing slight numbness in my right leg, but agonising pain. Sometimes it's ok and I can get on with life, but the flair-ups seem to be getting more regular. Like today, I'm self-employed and I can't stand or sit for more than about 30 seconds, so I can't work. I know they say to keep active, but when it's really bad all I can do is crawl. I'm on Fentanyl patches, co-codamol, diazepam and diclofenac, and they don't seem to touch it.

I've been told by my consultant that they can operate to remove the disc and fuse the vertebrae, but he made it sound very extreme and unlikely to work.

I know from my own research that I can have a partial removal or 'trim' of the prolapse, although he didn't mention this to me.

I can't carry on like this as the pain in unbrearable and also ruining my career, does anyone have any similar experience?

Should I go for an operation or is there a better way of controlling the pain?

I bought it in a charity shop today just because it's so beautiful, and I've googled it but can't find it. I can find a 1970's reproduction with much washier blue and a different border, and also lacking the artist signature and date on the front. Ours is quite large, has a straight edge, is signed Otto Eerelman 1839 and has the Delft pottery mark on the back, the date again, that it's handpainted and a triangle. Can anyone tell me anything more about it please?

And what are their effects? My friend just caught her fiance with them.

We want to research them but need to know exactly what they are first. Also, how much did they cost him?

I can't remember the formula I need to multiply?

First column is Unit Price, second column is Quantity, third column is Total Price - so I want it to multiply column one by the amount in column two. Make sense? Thanks for any help

I've just bought it and I'm really disappointed - there seems to be a lot of messing around and I just can't seem to get into it. I still haven't managed to harvest anything and I can't seem to build a shed for animals - getting thoroughly fed-up. Any tips please?
