I have nothing against gay people but I don't think they should be able to be legally married in Australia. My reason is because in Australia's context, marriage is a Christian act, meaning that gay marriages would be a big contradiction. After all, Australia is officially recognised as a Christian country even though many people in Australia aren't. You can't just change a whole religion. That's like going to, say, a Muslim country and trying to change one of their laws based around one of their beliefs. Having said that, I do, however, think that gay people should be able to be recognised as the equivalent of a married man and woman through civil ceremonies or something similar, just not in the traditional 'marriage' sense...

Anyway, what are your thoughts? I'd like to know :)

Well, there's this guy who I've liked for three years now and I have the slightest suspicion that he might like me but I'm not sure! I'm a shy person and so it's not obvious I like him. Anyway, I always catch him looking at me and then when I look at him he'll hold the gaze for a while and then quickly look away. Also, whenever I see him with his friends, they look at me and smile...it's so annoying and confusing...one time one of his friends are like "hey, look at (guy I like)"! I can't really tell if he likes me because we don't really talk often!! Please Help!

Well, I've been a huge fan of the original Skins for ages and I was horrified to hear there was going to be a US version that's almost exactly the same! I'll be watching Skins US for the first time tonight just to check out what it's like compared to the original Skins. Any heads up on what it's like?

Does anybody know how to download videos from youtube onto my computer?? I've seen people record audio from the videos onto a cassette but I want the actual video...
