I known nothing about electronics, but, I need to buy a camcorder.

I want to talk to preachers to know more about God. Are there telephone hotlines which I may call? Are there churches out there who are willing to talk to me over the telephone?

I have been really desperate since really long before. In short, I am a coward and a complete loser in playing the 'game of life'. I want to find out if God could help me out of the quagmire. I am totally grounded indoors so I cannot go to a church, for some reasons (Nothing to do with crimes).

Do tortured war prisoners ever get out alive?

We sometimes happen to see some leaked footage on how the U.S. armies (and of course, also those from other countries) tortured war prisoners.

I have never heard of any of such survivors describing their experience.

Do not tell me to go for Real Academia Española since it is too darn hard. It is not the one I want.

Something in a similar style to the Oxford Advanced Learner's Dictionary should be fine.

I know learning Chinese writing is misery. How about the listening?

I am learning English. This is what I am doing.

I read carefully through 5 pages of an advanced learner's dictionary every day so that in a year, I shall know nearly every word in it.

When I have done that, is it true that my vocabulary size would become the same as that of a native speaker? Or, not even close at all?

Do not worry about my forgetting a lot. I do some light revision from time to time. Today, I have finished a quarter of it and still remember briefly most of what I have learnt in the past.
