  • Latin Translation check?

So i have the translation of a story i wrote for my latin class. I would like someone to edit it for me, so then I would be able to know if i have all of the tenses and endings right.

Here's the Latin version of it.

Lacuna aperivit primum diem aestatis. Elizabetha inquit, "exsultemus simul." Diana inquit, "conabor." In tres, exsultaverunt in lacuna. calida aqua, Diana mansit.

Elizabetha aspergebat a Mariam multi tempi. Diana constituit as particeps et Maria feriator in capto *** crepundia. Ludus amatus est a matre, qui non spectat ille.

Elizabetha natante *** Mariam, Diana subito exclamavit. Puellae tibiarem calcitraverunt celerita. Nataverunt as Diana, ordine iubere. Puellae occursae Dianam, tenuit suam manus et inquit, "fregi unguem." Puellae derisae erant a matre trans lacuna. sed Diana visa suam sororem natavit procul ne offenae essent illa.

Puellae secuntae sunt diana diu, puellae constituerant prohibere et gauduerant die.

    Here is the English version:

The pool opened the first day of summer. Three girls, Elizabeth, Diane, and Marie, were excited to go. They had not swam for some time. The girls went to the pool. Elizabeth was the first to jump in and Marie followed her. Diane did not want tp jump lest the pool be cold. Elizabeth said, "Let's jump together." Diane said, "I'll try." On three they jumped into the pool. the water was warm and Diane stayed.

Elizabeth was splashed many times by Marie. Diane decided to join and Marie was hit in the head with a toy. The game was loved by their mother, who did not watch the girls.

While Elizabeth was swimming with Marie, Diane suddenly cried out. The girls kicked their legs quickly. They swam toward Diane in order to help. When they met Diane, she held up her hand and said, "I broke a nail" The girls were being laughed at from across the pool by their mother. Having been frightened, Elizabeth and Marie were happy Diane was safe. But after Diane saw her sisters, she swam away, lest she be hurt by them.

After Diane had been chased for a while, the girls decided to stop and enjoyed the day.

Thanks to whoever checks this over, I know its a lot of work, but i appreciate it.

  • Can anyone help with Latin?

Okay so i have to write a story for my Latin class and its already written and everything, but i was wondering if you could check it over and make sure that most of my endings are correct.

As you can see there are a few words i dont know, so if you do i would love to get them. Here is the english version:

Many years ago, a prince was walking in the road. He sees a girl carrying an urn, she is very tired. he says to himself, 'i will not tell her I am a prince.' He approaches her an says, 'Can i help you?' she hands over the urn and says, ' we must hurry to the marketplace and we must sell the urn. They run to the marketplace.

When they arrive to her father's stall, he said, 'how can i ever return the favor, you saved my daughter. The prince said, 'i wish to take your daughters hand in marrage.' the fater looked at him like a hore with two heads. soon the prince said, 'i am a prince.' the father is happy and praises him. the father says, 'they will live happily ever after."

thank you so much for anyone who can help!!
