I am relatively fit and I work out, for the last few months I have had pain in the back of my right knee that only seems to affect me when I bend it. It doesn't matter if it is under strain or not the pain is of the same intensity. It seems to be when I bend the leg in a manner that would affect the hamstring, putting strain on my quads doesn't cause it any pain, and it seems to be in the muscle structure behind the knee. I am wondering what can cause this type of pain. Note: I can still work out, run and lift as much as always but it seems persistant not getting better or worse.

Any advice?
