I dunno the year it came out, but I saw this movie on a premium channel in 2009.

It was done in a style of animation which gained modest popularity in a few TV commercials of the time.

The film appeared to be shot with live actors, but they were all cell shaded (like that Zelda Windwaker game) to remove the facial details.

The theme seemed to be a character who's face kept changing colors/shapes as if they were changing uncontrollably between different races. They were some sort of criminal or wanted man.

Any clues?

I looking for the title to a black and white animated feature I saw on the Sci-Fi (syfy) channel in the 90's. I'm not sure, but i thought it was based on a book by a sci-fi writer, maybe Isaac Asimov? The animation was not very advanced and it was in B&W so I'm guessing it was dated from the 60's?

Anyway, the plot goes like this: Humans live in a world where they are not the highest on the food chain. They live much like mice do, inhabiting the dwellings of a much larger humanoid race. The dominant race has advanced technology in the form of cubes of different sizes that can do various things. For example, some cubes produce food. Humans have discovered this and often attempt to raid cubes for food. The dominant species then puts out identical cubes that are in fact traps.

A "little girl" of the dominant race takes a human (the protagonist) as a pet and attempts to educate him and the plot ensues.

The only other part that really sticks out is a scene where the little human goes outside and finds a "wild" colony of humans living in an 'ant hill' which of course falls victim to a flying anteater's long tongue which laps up a bunch of humans.

Any sci-fi buffs out there?

I saw it in 2008 as a late night movie on a local station. It starts out talking about some magical/mythical figure much like a leprechaun. But it seems to be more about one man's journey in a red convertible as he passes through a series of strange towns. One town is over litigious and seems to frivolously arrest and sue everyone who passes by. Another one of the cities has a clear drug problem as there are signs forbidding a certain drug. The streets are clean and orderly due to the fact that the local gov't is actually producing the drug which instantly makes you addicted and concerned with nothing else. The local officials then put the addicts to work all day and let them rave at night. I can't remember the other towns, but the ending has something to do with the guy in the red car choosing not to go on, then watching as a "what if" version of himself goes on and gets smashed by a big truck. Oh yeah, and the leprechaun guy finds his pipe or something.

It kinda looks like an Indie film but I searched the last 20 years of indie films on IMDB and saw nothing like it.
