We want to travel to Big Sky, Montana from Charlotte on March 31 2012 (returning April 7 2012). Cheapest way?
Which airlines are generally the least expensive traveling into Montana? Bozeman appears to be closest, but someone who travels frequently to the area may have more insight. Any ideas? I understand Salt Lake City is 372 miles and Boise is around 450, but I'd really rather not drive that far. We've got FIVE of us travelling from Charlotte, NC (though we could leave from airports as far away as Atlanta - though that's a 5 hour drive for us).
3 AntwortenAir Travelvor 9 JahrenHigh School physics question: 4.54m/s^2t=2.89m/s^2(t+.6) and I solved for t; what is wrong with my approach?
High school physics question for my kid: A young woman named Kathy Kool buys a sports car that can accelerate at a rate of 4.54 m/s^2. She decides to test the car by drag racing with another speedster, Stan Speedy. Both start from rest, but experienced Stan leaves the starting line 0.6 s before Kathy. Stan moves with a constant acceleration of 2.89 m/s^2 and Kathy maintains an acceleration of 4.54 m/s^2. Find the time it takes Kathy to overtake Stan.
My kid and I worked on this a long time and thought the answer was 1.050909 seconds, but the Internet grading system said the answer was wrong. As parts, 2, 3, and 4, it asked for (2) the distance she traveled before catching up with him, (3) the speed of Stan's car at the instant she overtakes him, and (4) Kathy's speed at that instant.
He's already missed the automatic cut off for the question, but I want to make sure I know how he should have done this problem. Help?

My name is Bill Martin (very common) and I'd also like to get it to show up when I search for "Charlotte real estate". I see several of my competitors have this nailed!

It involves factoring, but I don't remember any of this.

This is for an 8th grade science question so average content would likely be best. Source of info is important.
