I had this dream three times now:

I visit my favorite writer at his home. This was intentionally just to get an autograph of him and to ask him questions like where does he take his ideas from, choosing characters etc.

He then asked me if I want to stay for a coffee and

I talked with him for a while before he finally said that he must keep on working now. I'm not at all a bookworm and dont really read a lot ... And the dreams I had did not happen the nights I was reading before going to sleep..... bizarre and strange isnt it, and that 3 times, EXACTLY the same one!

Hi guys, first of all, I am NOT Irish, so that's why I am asking :)

my question is the following one:

What is the country Irish people dislike or hate most of all?

Is it really England, as everybody seems to claim, or is it rather Northern Ireland? Maybe the U.S. or Scotland (yeah, even already heard Scotland as answer, to me seems to be a joke but yeah :) ) And France, alright I mean before the footy match....., they understood well each other didnt they?

Hi everyone! I'm an European guy from Switzerland, and my mother tongues are German and French. I'm interested to improve my English, maybe it doesn't seem to be too bad at first sight, but my problem is speaking fluently, which can even be improved by writing english texts, read what you wrote etc. as I heard. Of course I'm going to speak a lot lol :-)) but maybe this could be kind of a "first step" to get into it, as an exchange:

I'm a guy from switzerland/europe and well i really used to speak very well. Did 2 international certificates and stuff. Writing is still alright. But the English classes finished, and I went to france for a long time. Did never use english again (about 4 years now). It is sad to see that when I have to speak english (nearly never, but when I have to, it is even more embarrassing....) i forgot everything and i have to search my words. HOW CAN I FIND BACK TO SPEAK FLUENTLY?? anyone who has any good advice? I'm not talkin bout writing, neither really about very proper grammer. Just speaking fluently!!!
