I have tried to find an answer to this and everything I come up with seems to be present in both proper and specialized connective tissue. I have thought it might be fibers or matrix but doesn't seem to be. I can't figure it out. Anyone have a clue what needs to be present or absent?? Thanks!

I am due soon with my second child. I had an episiotomy with the first that lead to about a year of pain from scarring. My Dr. is concerned that if I need another episiotomy the pain will be worse and last longer so he recommends a C-section. I had abdominal surgery last year and had a rough recovery from that so I really want to avoid the c-section for that reason. I am also concerned about my older child not understanding why mommy can't pick him up for awhile and about how difficult it will be for me to get in and out of bed and tend to a new baby while recovering from a c-section. IF you have had both episiotomy and c-section I would love to hear your thoughts. If you have had 2 children, one or both with episiotomies I'd love to hear your thoughts. The Dr. is genuinely concerned for my husband and my intimacy should I have pain again but I am currently more concerned about giving up the delivery I planned and recovering from a c-section. Thanks for you help!

I have looked at lots of slings and have gotten more and more confused about what would be best. There are the one piece ones and the loop adjustable ones and I see the pros and cons of each. Then there are so many brands! What I want is answers from moms with personal experience of which you liked and didn't like and SPECIFICALLY why! I'm looking for it to tote around newborn - about 6 months while doing activities with my 4 year old. Thanks
