He was so healthy, i took him to the vet anyone ever had a cat with a heart defect that died suddenly my cat was only 5 months old

My girlfriend is taking it hard I bought her the cat for x-mas it was only 5 months old. I gave him catnip an hour before he died but the vet said that he did not die from the cat nip. The vet thinks he died from a heart defect. I think the cat nip might have cause it. what do you think.
