My husband is in the Marine corps and we are currently in Okinawa japan, however, I am pregnant and it is a very high risk pregnancy. The doctors arent quite sure what it is labeled as yet. They are "thinking" possible partial molar pregnancy but my symptoms arent quite matching and my baby is growing fine... so I am going to the states in a week to see an obgyn who deals with this often. My question is.. Is it possible for my husband to request a change of duty station to be stateside since my pregnancy is such a higher risk? It wouldn't even matter where, because it would be 100X easier to get to us or the doctor being in America, than the 9,000 mile trip from Japan. Plus the tickets are outrageous. It's tearing us financially apart traveling..

I have read a few similar stories and was wondering if there was anyone out there that experienced this too or knows anyone who did.

I gave birth in 2011 and 6 weeks ppd I got the Mirena inserted. Long story short, after almost 2 years of on and off bad bleeding, ovarian cysts, and pain I had it removed. My husband and I decided to try for another baby and I got pregnant within 4 months. I am 8 weeks pregnant right now but the doctors diagnosed me with a miscarriage saying my baby stopped growing and heart stopped over a week ago but my body hadn't processed it yet so they scheduled me for a D&C today....Well They let me have one last look so I could see and be 100% sure that the baby had passed.... Well low and behold the baby is still alive and heart beating, but slow... and the doctor noticed a mass inside with the baby, which they are now identifying as a Partial molar pregnancy. The doctors don't want to perform a D&C on me because my baby is still alive although they are telling me that my baby will not live passed 12 weeks and it is not a viable pregnancy. My HCG levels went from over 200,000 to 47,000 and the baby will die.. They basically want me to wait it out until the baby dies to do the D&C. I can't help but to feel like this all had to do with the Mirena... I had such a healthy pregnancy before and since the Mirena I have had nothing but problems... Has anyone else experienced this?

I live in Okinawa Japan, and I was at the beach this week and I have found 2 bones both of which I do not know if they are human or animal bones? I will post links to them, anything you know would be greatly appreciated.

Okay so my husband has been in Okinawa Japan for going on 5 months now and we have been waiting on our command sponsorship to finally approve. He is in the USMC if that helps at all. They told us yesterday that the paperwork is at the monitor? Does this mean its almost done? Once it is done how long does it take to get our plane ticket and the movers to come etc? We have our area clearance and medical clearance, dental EFMP etc. Just literally waiting on them... any info?

My husband is in the military and he is in Okinawa Japan and I just miss him a lot, and for me, listening to music helps me with my crazy emotions lol. Im posting this question because ive seen tons of them on here, but from years ago, so I want more updated music choices please! Anything, R&B country... different unique..everything!

I have looked and looked for answers. I am calling his pediatrician tomorrow to schedule an appointment. But here goes.. He started to break out in this weird dry blotchy looking rash on his face about 2 weeks ago, no other symptoms.. and then like 4 days ago he started running a fever about 101. He had a really bad diaper rash then too, but its a lot better now, hes been really fussy lately, a loss in appetite, he does have teeth coming in, he has 10 right now and more coming through. Hes been more tired lately also... but what gets me is his fever is gone, hes back to normal except a mild diaper rash, and this weird blotchy dry rash all over his face, it isnt really bad, but more pinkish than red... no where else on his body. Has anyone else experienced this at all? Im not sure if all those symptoms are linked together, but I wanted to list them in case anyone has gone through this too with their child. Please any help or advice to ease my mind or anything before I go see his doctor tomorrow?

Does anyone know why the music that is added into the video clips plays just fine and on time when played from the beginning of the movie you create but when you click certain clips throughout the movie, it plays a different part of the song than when you play from beginning? I have found that if I want to hear the ACTUAL part that will be playing during the slide, I have to play from beginning, otherwise it plays a different part of the song... Help?? I dont get this!! lol I am using windows live movie maker...not the older version (which I miss sooooo much!!)

So she started dating him about a year and a half ago... Everything was fine, he always kinda had a anger attitude but didnt act on it to her... then about 4-5 months into their relationship he started hitting her, and calling her horrible names.. like Lard *** and stuff when she is not fat at all... he has completely diminished her self confidence and everything.. he has busted her car windows out.. he has done so much to her.. hes been to jail over it once already too... and she just does NOT think shes pretty anymore, she feels like shes fat, she thinks she is a complete screw up, she thinks no one else will ever love her again because he tells her that stuff. It breaks my heart because she is the SWEETEST person ever... He goes through just tons and tons of abuse to her then he turns around and he is so so so sorry and THATS what keeps her because she just says how sorry he is and he didnt mean it.. I have been researching a lot, and it says its best not to judge her or try and force her to leave because it will only make her pull away more... and thats what the rest of the family has done..and so she just pushes away...I honestly think this guy has a severe case of bipolar because he will go from abuse, to self pity, to depression, to how much he loves her.. he will curse her out and hit her and make her leave then as soon as she does he calls her to come back...she gets back and he does it again... I want to get her help and HIM... I think if he would just see a doctor maybe he couldbe helped... I want her to leave him so badly, but she wont do it.. and if shes going to stay then i atleast want to try and help them as a couple so she will be safest until she will leave.. :( Does anyone have any advice for anything I can do? Please.. anything? It is just crushing me to watch this go on and on and she thinks it is her fault... and she is so happy when he is actually nice she just glows... ugh :( any advice would be great

My MIL works in a doctors office, they have adult patients not children and I am working on a sign asking patients to participate in their surveys. I need some good wording for these signs so they will be catchy and people will be more apt to taking a survey!! Thanks for any info!

So my NOW husband is being shipped to Japan as his first duty station for 2 years unaccompanied. We have been married since he graduated boot camp. My question is that when i had to sign that i understood he may be stationed over seas and myself and our son may not be able to accompany him, I signed that as his girlfriend, we werent married yet... So Since we have been married would that void that part of the contract because it does not have it stated that it wouldnt void for marriage etc.... & I also had my maiden name then, and now I have his last name.. i know this is tricky but I m trying everything possible to get us to Japan with him because I can't imagine 2 years without my husband or him not to see his son... Thank you for your advice

My husband will be graduating and entering into the fleet in a few weeks. He is in the Marine Corps... He has been told his orders would be a 3 year accompanied tour to japan so our son and myself could go too... Well yesterday they changed and said looks like it will be a 2 year unaccompanied tour to japan and then deploy to afghanistan... He is a FIRST TERM marine and even the colonel is in an outrage because she says that this completely goes against the marine corps law and ethics on family. That she is going to talk to the sargent major and others on monday. She said she wants them changed to another station or to change the orders to accompanied because right now all 10 married marines in his platoon all got unaccompanied orders to japan... and they all think it is wrong... What do you think about the orders getting changed? and if they wont change them and all of the wives all just go to japan what will happen?? I am absolutely devastated that this happened to my husband and I... plus all the other marines and their spouses and our children... Please do not reply with ignorance or mean/snide comments. Thank you

My Fiance is graduating on August 5th 2011 and his family day is August 4th. I want to wear something that is going to make him be proud to fight for me :) I don't want to look plain Jane. Anyone else know of any cute online stores or has been to one and knows of some cute dresses or anything?

Okay, my situation.. I gave birth to my first child via c section 6 weeks ago and at my checkup two days ago I am all healed and doing great so my dr inserted the mirena.. and It was just a little cramping, nothing bad. I spotted for a couple hours then it went away, no pain.. Yesterday the bleeding got a little worse still not bad though.. and today I am having very heavy bleeding with clots... not a lot of cramping or pain just a ton of bleeding, is this normal? anyone that has the Mirena gone through this?? I would appreciate any advice or stories, thanks! =]

My fiance has joined the Marine Corps, and he leaves for Boot Camp May 9th, 2011. I just want some advice or something to know what he's going to be going through etc? Im nervous because we have a child together and we have never been apart for more than 2 weeks. He is military police and he is active duty.. How much and how long do you think he will be deployed? I know he has been wanting to do this since he was 17 years old.. So I know this is what he wants to do for his life and ours. I just want to be reassured things will be fine.

I am being induced tomorrow I am 39 weeks 4 days pregnant right now and the ultrasound tech said he is 9 pounds and 10oz... I dont think he is really that big.. anyone else have this happen to them??

So I am 39 Weeks pregnant and for the last day or 2 I have been having lots of BH contractions and they kinda feel like mild menstrual cramps.. also accompanied along with it has been every time I go to the bathroom stringy pieces of mucus comes out, and im having the worst GAS pains, feels like I either need to pass gas or have a bowel movement but nothings coming when I go to the bathroom.. & my stomach has been really hard today with stronger BH contractions but it doesnt feel so strong that I need to rush to the doctor.. any ideas on what this is? Anyone had children before and experienced this?? Thanks for your help

So I know that no one can give me a set day lol BUTTTT I have been 1CM dilated and "really soft cervix" since I was 35 weeks.. Im now 38 weeks 5 days. Dr appt was yesterday still the same, but I seem to be having cramp like braxton hicks for the last week.. and baby has dropped, ughh how much longer? or any advice on how to speed things up??

I have two german shepherds and my mother likes them inside everyday but they do usually stay outside in the back yard during the day and I am 37 weeks pregnant and getting sick to death of cleaning up after them constantly.. it doesnt matter how many baths they get they still make the house smell like dog!! Any advice on what I can do to minimize the smell or eliminate it? This is soooooo beyond frustrating.

So I am a new mom to be, I have never been pregnant before & a littttle confused! =] I am 36 weeks and 4 days pregnant I had a doctor appt today and my doctor said I am 1CM dilated and a really soft cervix.. what exactly does this mean?? & Also I have been having lots of braxton hicks contractions which I know are fake contractions but they seem to be like mild menstrual cramps for the last week, is this good? and anyyyy idea if labor is near? =]] Thank youuu!!
