I'm reading Pollan's article and there's a statement in here that I don't quite understand.

”The problem with nutrient-by-nutrient nutrition science,” points out Marion Nestle, the New York University nutritionist, ”is that it takes the nutrient out of the context of food, the food out of the context of diet and the diet out of the context of lifestyle.”

Can someone clarify what they mean by this? Thank you!

So i order an item from forever 21 more than 2 weeks ago & i totally forgot about it. I tracked it online and it says it was transferred to my local post office since 9/10/15. I'm not sure why it was never delivered to me, so my question is what should i do? Am i able to pick it up at the post office? I was never notified that i needed to pick up the item, or if something went wrong and it got delayed.. Or should I just wait? I mean it's been there for more than a week..

Your opinion of the topic would be great as well. There isn't a certain rubric I have to follow, so it's pretty open.

I m doing a research paper, but i need culture and counterculture topics that are interesting, for ex: The culture of drug abuse in California.

I'm 18 and barley started driving for 3 days and my instructor already booked an appointment a week from today. I'm not ready at all, but he won't listen to me, claiming that i will be ready within the 6 days i'm going to practice. There's still a whole bunch of things i haven't learned yet, and i can't do any of my turns correctly. How can he expect me to be ready by then?? I'm going to be taking it in at San Jose Downtown in California. I heard they are strict, which makes me 2x as nervous.

I don't know what to do. I've already told him but he won't change his mind.

So I opened a college account at Wells Fargo about a month ago, but now i'm planning on switching to Chase because for their college checking account, there's no minimum balance. And since I'm not working, that's a good deal for me! Wells Fargo is making me have at least $500 in my account within 3 months and I don't have that type of cash right now.

So I was just wondering,

1) Will i be charged for closing my account early?

2) What type of information would I have to give when closing my account?

I'm a freshman in college and is currently majoring in Sociology. I'm thinking about becoming a Medical Social Worker but I'm not sure if i should.

I really like helping people, but i don't know if they make enough money. I'm not asking to become filthy rich or anything, just enough to be able to support a family one day.

Is this career worth it?

I'm 18 years old and planning on opening a checking and savings account at Wells Fargo. Since this is my first time, I'm really clueless on all of this. So once I walk into the bank, what are some things I should expect?

Ex: what type of things they're going to want from me? How much will I have to deposit? What type of things will they be asking?

Also, I was just wondering how long the process usually takes?

Tomorrow, my sister and I will be traveling on Southwest Airlines from Arizona to California. I recently turned 18 (4 months ago). I don't have a state ID or a driver license yet, only a student ID. Am i still able to use my student id even though i'm 18? I had my mom send my Birth Certificate and Social Security card over. My passport has been expired for a while so i can't use that.

I was also wondering if at the security checkpoint, they will know your age? In the past, I gave my student ID and they didn't question it. Also, i heard about additional screening. What is that exactly? I feel like I'm over thinking this because I'm really nervous.
