I'm really confused right now. I basically have no idea how college works and everything. I'm new to it all. I'm applying right now and I know I can always change my major, but I kind of want an idea for when I go off to college next year.

I was planning on majoring in psychology and then going to med school and doing what I gotta do to become a psychiatrist. However, I know that's really difficult to achieve and I've read that psychology majors really don't make that much money. I want to major in something that I not only enjoy, but that will also be able to make me financially comfortable in the future. Is there a minor or other major I could take along with psychology to give me a better chance in the future if for some reason I'm not able to pursue my dreams in med school?

Other than psychology, I'm really good at math and English. I'm okay in science. What other majors could I look into that have to do with psychology, math, and/or english?

Sorry if parts of this make no sense. I'm seriously so confused. Neither of my parents went to college and I'm the oldest of my siblings, so I feel kind of overwhelmed.

I'm planning on applying to Indiana University in Bloomington. (well, in the process of applying) I am absolutely in LOVE with IU. I cannot wait to be done applying so I can get my letter of acceptance (or rejection :c) I know that I'm pretty good academically but I'm still not sure. I just want a second opinion. Do you think I'll get it and receive any scholarships?

I have a 4.0 gpa. I'm in the top 10 of my class. (Of about 215 students) I got a 25 on the ACT. I have community service hours. I'm in NHS. I'm involved in student government and academic team. I was in FCCLA my freshman year and last year. Not this year because it's apparently too expensive. I've received awards for being in the top 10, perfect attendance, having a gpa higher than 3.5.

Anyways. I live in southeastern Indiana and I need to go somewhere where I won't have to pay for out of state tuition. So far I've applied to IU-bloomington (My #1 school), NKU (My #2), and Hanover College (My sort of fall back.). I don't feel right only applying to three colleges, so I want to apply to at least one more. I was debating Ball State but I'm not sure. What other schools are there that I could apply to that I wouldn't have to pay out of state tuition?

I'm applying to this college and they say that the minimum word count for the essay is 500 words and the essay that I wrote turned out to be 1,370 words. If they didn't specify a maximum, is that word count okay? I don't know that I can condense it without taking away from the quality of my essay..

I am NOT a computer whizz and I just need help understanding this computer so I don't download stuff without knowing how much space I'm taking up. (I don't even know if I can download many things with 1gb anyways, lol)

I'm writing a short story historical fiction for English. And I need to know the following:

-What was life like for the Japanese civilians during WWII?

-When they were evacuated after the bombing, where exactly were they taken?(camps, streets, etc?) And how were they taken there?(in groups, with their family, by bus, walking, etc?)

-Any other stuff you think would be relevant to know.

I'm in the mood for writing one-shots. So far, I've written about rape, eating disorders, and break-ups. What other issues could I write about?

It's about a girl who meets a boy and falls in love with him. Then she meets a new boy and falls for him. Neither of the guys know either. The guys have a conflict towards the end of the book and they have a fight in the rain. One gets ran over and killed.

I'm fifteen years old and I really enjoy writing. I'm currently a member of mibba.com, but I want to broaden my horizons. I've been to quizilla before, and I don't like it. They aren't organized.

So, in conclusion, I'm looking for a writing website similar to mibba.com that is organized and has a good community.
